THE TANA AND ATHI RIVERS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ACT (Cap. 443)
President William Samoei Ruto appoints Dr. Catherine Kagwiria Mutua as Non-Executive Chairperson of the Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority Board for three years, effective 19th March 2026. 

THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA & THE ELECTIONS ACT (No. 24 of 2011)
The Emurua Dikirr Constituency parliamentary seat is vacant following the death of Hon. Joshua Kipyegon Ng’eno on 28th February 2026, as per Articles 101(4)(a), 103(1)(a) of the Constitution and section 16(3) of the Elections Act. 

THE LEGAL EDUCATION ACT (Cap. 16B) 

One hundred and sixty-three (163) persons have met the requirements of section 13 of the Advocates Act (Cap. 16) by passing the examinations and completing pupilage, subject to any exemptions granted under subsection 13(2). 

THE PHYSICAL PLANNERS REGISTRATION ACT (Cap. 536) 

The Registrar of Physical Planners Board confirms the listed physical planners are registered and licensed to practice for 2026 as per section 8(3) of the Act. 

THE CIVIL AVIATION ACT (No. 21 of 2013) 

Applications for air service licences under the Civil Aviation Act, 2013, have been submitted. Written representations for or against any application must reach the Director General within 21 days of this notice. 

THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT (Cap. 303) 

Katorong’ot Informal Settlement Development Plan completed on 27th February 2026. Copies are available at County Lands Office, Kabarnet. Representations or objections may be submitted within 60 days. 

THE LEGAL EDUCATION ACT (Cap. 16B) 

Pursuant to section 8(1)(f) of the Legal Education Act, 2012, 163 persons have met the requirements of section 13 of the Advocates Act (Cap. 16), passing examinations and pupilage, subject to any exemptions granted under subsection 13(2). 

THE PHYSICAL PLANNERS REGISTRATION ACT (Cap. 536) 

The Registrar of the Physical Planners Registration Board confirms that the listed Registered Physical Planners are validly licensed for 2026 under the Physical Planners Registration Act, Cap. 536, and may practice in their respective categories. 

THE CIVIL AVIATION ACT (No. 21 of 2013) 

Applications for variation or issuance of air service licences have been submitted to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority under the Civil Aviation Act, 2013. Representations for or against any application must reach the Authority within 21 days. 

THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT (Cap. 303) 

The Katorong’ot Informal Settlement Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan is complete. Copies are available for public inspection in Kabarnet, with sixty (60) days to submit representations or objections to the County Executive Committee Member for Lands. 

THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT (Cap. 303) 

Bachuma and Voi Township Local Physical and Land Use Development Plans are complete. Copies are available for public inspection in Wundanyi and Voi, with sixty (60) days to submit comments or objections to the County Director of Physical Planning. 

EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY CUSTOMS MANAGEMENT ACT, 2004 

The Commissioner of Customs and Border Control appoints specified Customs Areas, Entrances, and Exits under section 12 of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004. Limits of these areas are set in the First and Second Schedules of the notice. 

THE LAND ACT (Cap. 302) SECTION 90 

Creative Enterprises Limited is in default on a charge dated 11th February 2011 over Land Reference 209/4062, Nairobi. Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited demands payment within 90 days or will exercise remedies under the Land Act, including sale of the property. 

THE LAND ACT (Cap. 302) SECTION 90 

Nakumatt Investments Limited is in default on charges over properties in Mombasa, Nakuru, and Nairobi. Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited demands payment within 90 days; failure will lead to enforcement under the Land Act, including sale of the charged properties. 

THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT (Cap. 490) 

The liquidation period for Abogeta Farmers Co-operative Society Limited (CS/819) is extended by three months. Charles Muchui Mugwika continues as liquidator to complete the liquidation exercise under the Co-operative Societies Act. 

THE ENERGY ACT (No. 1 of 2019) 

EPRA approves Tilisi Power Company’s tariff variance for high-demand CI2 customers in Tilisi, raising tariffs by 7.5% effective from the commissioning of the 66/11kV substation, under Sections 11(c) and 163(1) of the Energy Act, 2019. 

THE PROCEEDS OF CRIME AND ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING ACT (Cap. 59A) 

Nairobi High Court issues preservation orders over Wamboi Mary Wanjiku’s Toyota Fielder (KDV 627S). Sale, transfer, or disposal is prohibited, with surrender of keys, logbook, and vehicle required within seven days, pursuant to section 83(1) of the Proceeds of Crime Act. 

THE INSOLVENCY ACT (Cap. 53) 

The High Court appoints the Official Receiver as Liquidator of Comroad Construction and Equipment Limited. The company’s affairs and assets are vested with the Liquidator. Creditors must file Proof of Debt by 16th March 2026; first meeting on 26th March 2026. 

THE INSOLVENCY ACT (Cap. 53, Section 399) 

The Official Receiver is appointed Liquidator of Camec Kenya Limited following a special resolution on 10th December 2025. All company matters and assets are under the Liquidator; creditors must file Proof of Debt via eCitizen. 

THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND CO-ORDINATION ACT (No. 8 of 1999) 

NEMA invites public comments on the Environmental Impact Assessment for Tatu Towers mixed-use development, Ruiru, Kiambu County. Comments must be submitted within thirty (30) days. The project includes residential towers, commercial spaces, parking, and recreational facilities. 

THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND CO-ORDINATION ACT (No. 8 of 1999) 

NEMA invites public comments on the EIA for a proposed seven-storey hotel by Season Global Limited in Gigiri, Westlands Sub-County, Nairobi City County. Comments are to be submitted within thirty (30) days to assist in the approval process.
