Communication from the chair.

The Speaker, Hon. Justine Muturi reported to the House that he has received a message from the President seeking the National Assembly’s approval for the appointment of Ms. Immaculate Kassait as the Data Commissioner. The message and the curriculum vitae of the nominee were referred to the Departmental Committee on Communication, Information and Innovation to undertake the necessary approval hearings.

Procedural Motion

• Upon resumption of the house from recess 3rd November 2020, the following business will be prioritized:

• That the House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations on its consideration of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kenya and the Government of the Italian Republic on the Luigi-BroglioMalindi Space Centre
• That the House adopts the report of the Public Investments Committee on its consideration of the Special Audit Report on Procurement of Pre-Export Verification conformity to standard services. 
• Consideration of Senate Amendments to the IEBC (Amendment)(No.3) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 35 of 2019)
• That the House adopts the report of the Departmental Committee of Labour and Social Welfare and it’s consideration on the Sessional Paper No. 2 of 2019 on the National Policy on Gender and Development.
