Kajiado  The Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, EIA for Proposed Residential Development in Ngong, Kajiado County

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the proposed construction of 308 residential units on L.R. No. Ngong/Ngong 110409, located along Gataka Road, Ngong, Kajiado County.Public comments on the project are invited pursuant to section 59 of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, No. 8 of 1999.

Kitui The Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act,EIA for Proposed Copper Ore Flotation Plant, Kitui County

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the proposed installation of a copper ore flotation plant and associated facilities on L.R. No. Nzalae/Mutonguni/39, Kakuyuni Village, Mithikwani Sub-location, Matinyani Sub-county, Kitui West Constituency.NEMA invites public comments on the project in accordance with section 59 of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act, No. 8 of 1999.

The County Governments Act, Kitui County Public Service Board Report on the Extent of Compliance with Values and Principles of Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution in the Kitui County Public Service (December 2023)

The Kitui County Public Service Board submitted its 2023 report assessing compliance with constitutional values and principles. The report highlights progress in promoting transparency, inclusion, and effective service delivery, including the recruitment of 1,668 ECDE teachers and 2,470 Community Health Promoters.Key challenges include low internet connectivity, limited funding, and underrepresentation of persons with disabilities. The Board recommends increased budgetary support, improved ICT infrastructure, and enhanced public awareness to strengthen adherence to governance and public service values.

Machakos The County Governments Act (Cap. 265), Facilities Improvement Financing Act, 2023, Appointment of Hospital Board Members, Machakos County
Pursuant to Section 18(1) of the Facilities Improvement Financing Act, 2023, the CECM for Health, Machakos County, has appointed new Hospital Board Members to serve across Level 4 and Level 5 hospitals in the County, including Machakos Level 5, Kangundo, Kathiani, Matuu, Mwala, Masii, Mutituni, Kalama, Kimiti, Ndithini, Masinga, and Athi River Hospitals. The appointed members will serve for a three-year term, renewable once.
Garissa The Physical and Land Use Planning Act (No. 13 of 2019), County Government of Garissa,Completion of Part Development Plans
The County Government of Garissa has completed preparation of two Part Development Plans (PDPs) dated 30th September 2025, both relating to the formalization of existing residential plots within Garissa Municipality (Ref. Nos. 326/2025/01 and 326/2025/02). The plans are available for public inspection at the County Director of Physical Planning’s Office in Garissa. Written representations or objections may be submitted within 60 days to the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development, Garissa County.

The County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Trade and Industrialization, Trans-Nzoia County, has revoked the appointment of Moses Kiptanui (SACCOs Representative), Cynthia Nekesa (Business Community Representative), and Hosea Serem (Representative of CECM Agriculture), previously appointed via Gazette Notice No. 753 of 2024. They are replaced with Loverine Chirchir, Austine Wanyonyi, and Joab Aruba, representing SACCOs, the business community, and the Department of Agriculture, respectively.

The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Hon. Rebecca Miano, has published the Ewaso Enclave Conservancy Management Plan 2025–2035, outlining strategies for wildlife conservation, rangeland management, tourism development, community engagement, and security within the conservancy in Laikipia County.The plan, structured around four key programmes, Wildlife and Rangeland Management, Tourism Development, Community Outreach, and Operations and Security—sets out a 10-year framework for sustainable conservation and economic development. Copies are available at the Kenya Wildlife Service Headquarters and the Ewaso Enclave Conservancy offices in Nanyuki.
