Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior appointed 30 members to the Makueni County Environmental Committee, including government officials and representatives of public-benefit organizations, business, farmers and pastoralists, with six representatives appointed for a three-year term. 

Kilifi County appointed members to the Northern and Southern Region Sub-County Liquor Regulation Committees, comprising county and national government officials, police representatives and three residents, with relevant government officers co-opted as needed. 

Nakuru County’s CEC Member for Health Services appointed members of the Health Facility Management Committee for New Canaan Dispensary, Nakuru East, for a three-year term from the date of gazettement. 

The Part Development Plan for existing NEMA offices in Maralal Municipality, Samburu County, was completed on 28 August 2026 and made available for public inspection. Interested persons have 60 days from publication to submit written representations or objections. 

Annie Ngatha Macharia, Deputy Clerk for Legislative Procedures and Committee Services, will continue to exercise the functions, duties and powers of the Murang’a County Assembly Clerk and Secretary to the County Assembly Service Board in an acting capacity until a substantive Clerk is appointed.
