The Constitutional and Human Rights Division of the High Court delivered its judgment on the petition filed by the Katiba Institute, challenging the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework and the concession agreement between the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and the Adani Group. The ruling sets a critical judicial precedent on statutory public participation and parliamentary oversight requirements for Privately Initiated Proposals (PIPs) under the PPP Act.

President Museveni Flags Off US$310M Kampala Storage Terminal Construction 

President Yoweri Museveni presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the 320-million-litre Kampala Storage Terminal (KST) in Mpigi District. Fully owned and operated by the Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC), the US$310 million midstream facility will connect via a 211km pipeline to Hoima, creating a strategic reserve to cushion domestic and regional markets against fuel supply chain disruptions.
