The Constitution of Kenya, Ambassador/Permanent Representative, Appointment. 

The President has appointed Ida Betty Odinga, Canon (Dr.) as Ambassador and Permanent Representative in the Foreign Service of the Republic of Kenya.  

The Constitution of Kenya, The Public Service Commission Act (Cap. 185), Appointment.  

The President has appointed Francis Meja to be the Chairperson of the Public Service Commission for a period of six (6) years.  

The Retirement Benefits Authority Act (Cap. 197), Retirement Benefits Authority, Appointment  

The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning has appointed Abdi Ali Mohamed to be a Member and Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Retirement Benefits Authority for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 27th February 2026.  

The Clinical Officers (Training, Registration and Licensing) Act (Cap. 253e), Clinical Officers Council 

The Cabinet Secretary for Health has appointed Kipkoech Geoffrey, Joseph Macharia Wachira, Shadrack M. Asena, Pauline Sirote Korere, Abdirahman Noor Mohamed and Salma Mohamed Abdi to be Members of the Board of Directors of the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 27th February 2026.

The Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade, and Industry has re-appointed Francis Kuria KaruGrace Nyabonyi Momanyi, and Stephen Kipkosgei Yego, as Members of the National Standards Council, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 27th February 2026. 

The Sugar Act (No. 11 of 2024), Kenya Sugar Research and Training Institute, Appointment. 

The Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development has appointed Joseph Kiplangat TooFrederick North-CoombesKizito Wangalwa and Vasey N. Mwaja to be Members of the Kenya Sugar Research and Training Institute, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 27th February 2026.  

The State Corporations Act (Cap. 446), The Youth Enterprise Development Fund Order (L.N. 63 Of 2007), Youth Enterprise Development Fund, Re-Appointment  

The Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports has re-appointed Fatma Bakari Barayan as a Non-Executive chairperson of the Board of Youth Enterprise Development Fund, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 27th February 2026.  

The Water Act (Cap. 372), Northern Water Works Development Agency, Appointment  

The Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation has appointed Isack Abduba Fayo to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Water Works Development Agency, established vide Legal Notice No. 28 of 2019, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 27th February 2026.  

The Statutory Instruments Act (Cap. 4), Regulatory Impact Statement  

The Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport notifies the public that a Regulatory Impact Statement has been prepared for the proposed Kenya Roads (Roadside Stations) Regulations, 2025, and invites all persons likely to be affected to submit written memoranda within fourteen (14) days of publication of this notice to dpsc@kenha.co.ke; the draft Statement and proposed Regulations are available at http://kenha.co.ke/publicnotices/. 

The Statutory Instruments Act (Cap. 2a), Regulatory Impact Statement  

The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife has prepared a regulatory impact statement on the impacts and likely impacts of the proposed Wildlife Conservation and Management (Access and Conservation) (Fees) Regulations, 2025. Any person likely to be affected by the proposed Regulations may submit a written memorandum on the proposed Regulations within fourteen (14) days from the date of this notice. The written memorandum should be delivered on weekdays and during official working hours (8.00 a.m. to 5:00 pm) or by email to rates@kws.go.ke

Republic Of Kenya, The Senate (Thirteenth Parliament – Fifth Session), (Regular Sessions Of The Senate – February to December 2026), Calendar 

The Senate of the Republic of Kenya has approved its calendar for the Fifth Session, 2026 (February to December), in accordance with Standing Order 32, following a resolution on 17th February 2026. 

The Water Act (Cap. 372) Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited Approved Tariff Structure for the Period 2025/2026 To 2028/2029 

WASREB has approved new water and sewer tariffs for NCWSC for 2025/26–2028/29 to improve service delivery and sustainability. Domestic water rates will range from Kshs. 68–117/m³, sewerage at 75% of water used, with fixed charges for unconnected users. Fees cover deposits, reconnections, meters, and penalties for illegal connections. Targets include increasing water coverage to 87%, sewerage to 64%, reducing non-revenue water to 39%, and extending supply to 12 hours daily. NCWSC must follow budgets, submit quarterly reports, implement key investments, and ensure compliance, with penalties for violations. 

Kenya Revenue Authority, Customs and Border Control Department List Of Overstayed Goods At Forodha – J.K.I.A. Customs Warehouse 

Notice is given under Section 42 of the EACCMA 2004 that goods held at the Customs Warehouse, Forodha, J.K.I.A., will be treated as abandoned and sold via online auction (https://ibid.kra.go.ke) on 1st–3rd April 2026 unless removed within 30 days. Viewing is on 30th–31st March 2026. 

The Kenya Information and Communications Act (Cap. 411a), Application for Licences 

The Communications Authority of Kenya has received applications from several companies for licences including Satellite Landing Rights, Network Facilities Provider (Tier 3), and National Courier Operator. Any person or group wishing to submit representations or objections must do so in writing to the Director General, CA Centre, Waiyaki Way, P.O. Box 14448–00800, Nairobi, within 30 days of this notice, and copy the applicant. 

The Crops Act (Cap. 318), Proposed Grant of Licenses 

The Agriculture and Food Authority proposes to grant coffee export, import, value addition, roasting, and packaging licences to multiple applicants across Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Machakos, and Nyeri counties. Any objections must be submitted in writing to the Coffee Directorate, Coffee Plaza Building, P.O. Box 30566–0100, Nairobi, within 14 days from this notice, stating the objector’s details and grounds. Licences will be issued to compliant applicants by 6th March 2026.

The Registrar of Companies gives notice that the companies listed will be struck off the Register three months from this publication. Any person wishing to object must show cause in writing within the three-month period.
