The President has appointed Joseph Kirui Limo to be the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Gambling Regulatory Authority, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 24th October 2025.

The President has appointed Jane Mwikali Makau (DR.) to be the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board of the National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 24th October 2025.

The State Corporations Act (Cap. 446), The National Council For Population And Development Order, 2004, National Council For Population And Development, Appointment

The President has appointed Ali Wario to be the Non-Executive Chairperson of the National Council for Population and Development Board, for a period of three (3) years.

The Chairperson of the Judicial Service Commission has appointed Allan Mwola Owinyi to be the Deputy Chairperson of the Sports Disputes Tribunal, with effect from 7th October 2025, until 16th May 2030.

Supreme Court Of Kenya, December Recess, 2025

The Chief Justice gives notice that the Supreme Court December Recess will commence on Sunday, 21st December 2025 and terminate on Tuesday, 13th January 2026, both days inclusive. The duty Judge will be available during recess to deal with urgent matters.

The Unclaimed Financial Assets Act (No. 40 Of 2011), The Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority, No Objection

The Acting Chief Executive Officer and Managing Trustee of the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority has issued notice to the public on claims it has received from individuals acting as administrators of deceased estates or as agents of original asset owners. If no objections are submitted within 30 days of the publication date, the Authority will release the unclaimed assets to the respective claimants.

Windsor House Auctioneers, Disposal Of Uncollected Goods

Windsor House Auctioneers has issued several notices authorizing the disposal of various unclaimed motor vehicles, motorcycles, and assorted items currently held at several police stations across Kenya. The notices follow court orders from Miscellaneous Application Cases in Mwingi, Karatina, and Mavoko courts.

  • At Mwingi Police Station, unclaimed items include motor vehicles (Mazda Demio KCK 642P, Subaru Impreza KBF 828N), motorcycles, old engines, scrap metals, and a burnt shell.
  • At Kiamariga Police Station (Karatina), the uncollected goods include motorcycles, a TV set, gas cylinders, water pump, bicycles, subwoofers, and a power saw.
  • At Syokimau Police Station (Mavoko), several motorcycles with and without registration numbers remain unclaimed.
  • At Mlolongo Police Station, unclaimed property includes a motor vehicle (KBN 323H Nissan), multiple motorcycles, and a bicycle.

Owners are required to collect their property within 30 days from the date of publication; otherwise, Windsor House Auctioneers will sell the items through public auction on behalf of the respective police stations.
