Legal Education Act (Cap. 16B), Licensed Legal Education Providers and Legal Education Programmes
The Council of Legal Education published the list of licensed legal education providers and programmes in Kenya as at 31 December 2025. This includes Licensed LL.M and Licensed LL.B. programmes. Applications pending renewals include UMMA University (LL.B. and Sharia), Africa Nazarene University (LL.B.), Chuka University (LL.B.), Moi University (LL.B.), and the University of Nairobi Parklands Campus (LL.B.)
Kenya Information and Communications Act (Cap. 411A), Application for Licences
Nyumba Iitu Media Limited has applied to the Communications Authority of Kenya for a Commercial Free to Air Radio licence to operate Nyumba Iitu Radio. Any person or organization wishing to make representations or objections must submit them in writing to the Director General, Communications Authority of Kenya, within 30 days from the date of publication, and send a copy to the applicant.

The Communications Authority of Kenya will revoke the Postal Licences of 29 licenses following National Courier Operators within seven (7) days from the date of this notice. The Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) has published the list of accredited conformity assessment bodies as of 31st December 2025. The bodies are accredited under various standards including ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189, ISO/IEC 17043, ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17020, and WOAH. Insurance Act (Cap. 487), Policyholders Compensation Fund Regulations, 2010
The Board of Trustees of the Policyholders Compensation Fund, in consultation with the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury, has set the maximum compensation per claim at KSh. 500,000 for all insurance classes. The limit applies to policyholders or claimants of insurers whose license is cancelled or placed under management after this notice is published. The limit is effective from the publication date and remains in force until further notice.
