The Statutory Instruments Act (Cap. 2a), Regulatory Impact Statement 

The Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications, Technology and the Digital Economy notifies the public that Regulatory Impact Statements for the following Regulations have been prepared: 

1. The proposed Kenya Information and Communications (Radio Communications and Frequency Spectrum) Regulations, 2025 have been made pursuant to section 38 (1) of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, Cap. 411A. 
2. The proposed Kenya Information and Communications (Broadcasting) Regulations, 2025 have been made pursuant to section 46K of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, Cap. 411A. 
3. The proposed Kenya Information and Communications (Electronic Communications Equipment Type Approval) Regulations, 2025 have been made pursuant section 27 of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, Cap. 411A
4. The proposed Kenya Information and Communications (Domain Names Administration) Regulations, 2025 have been made pursuant to section 83F of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, Cap. 411A. 

All persons likely to be affected by the proposed Regulations to submit written memoranda to reach the undersigned within fourteen (14) days from the date of publication of this Notice. Written memoranda should be emailed to psbroadcasting@ict.go.ke  The Regulatory Impact Statements and proposed instruments are available on the Ministry’s website www.ict.go.ke. Hard copies may also be requested through the Ministry’s email address during normal working hours.

The Political Parties Act (No. 11 of 2011), Provisional Registration of Political Parties 

The Registrar of Political Parties gives notice that the following political parties have applied for provisional registration under Section 6 of the Act “Restoration Alliance Party (RAP)” and “Citizen Alliance for Democratic Affairs (CADA)” Any person with written submissions concerning the registration of the above political parties shall within seven (7) days from the date of this publication deposit them with the Registrar of Political Parties. 

The Political Parties Act (Cap. 7d) Change of Party Head Office Location 

The Registrar of Political Parties gives notice that the United Party of Independent Alliance (UPIA) intends to change its party head office from Gem Lane, off Mandera Road, Kileleshwa, to Ramshab Lane, along Ngong Road, next to Nairobi Baptist Church. Notice is given that the Agriculture and Food Authority proposes to grant a licence to applicants. Any objections to the proposed grant of license with respect to the applicant should be lodged in writing with the Agriculture and Food Authority within fourteen (14) days from the date of this Notice. The Agriculture and Food Authority proposes to issue the license to the applicants who will have complied with the Crops Act of 2013, the Crops (Coffee)(General) Regulations, 2019 and any other relevant written law by 30th August 2025.
