Appointments
The President has appointed Mohammed Hashim to be the Chairman of the National Council for Population and Development Board, for a period Of three (3) years with effect from the 21st May, 2021 and revokes the appointment of David Ngugi.
The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife has appointed persons as Honorary Wardens for a period of three (3) years.
The Cabinet Secretary for Health, has appointed persons to be members of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Medical Research Institute, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 17th May, 2021.
The Central Bank of Kenya has appointed Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation as Liquidator of Charter House Bank Limited, with effect from the 7th May, 2021.
Public Sector
The Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning has extended the term of the Taskforce on Formulation of the Sectional Properties Regulations tinder the Sectional Properties Act, 2020, for a period of forty-five (45) days, with effect from the 12th May, 2021.
The Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning has classified the development of Nairobi Railway City as a project of strategic national importance.
The National Treasury and Planning has released a statement of actual revenues and net exchequer issues as at 30th April, 2021
The National Land Commission on behalf of the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) has given notice that the Government intends to acquire a wayleave corridor on some parcels of land for the construction of Isinya—Konza 400 KV 40 km. Transmission line.
The Customs and Border Control Department has given notice of goods to be sold at customs warehouse, Kilindini if unclaimed within 30 days.
Public consultation meetings on licence for water service providers have been announced.
