STATEMENT OF ACTUAL REVENUES AND NET EXCHEQUER ISSUES AS AT 28TH FEBRUARY, 2025

Hon. JOHN MBADI NG’ONGO, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning has published a STATEMENT OF ACTUAL REVENUES AND NET EXCHEQUER ISSUES AS AT 28TH FEBRUARY, 2025. The Exchequer Balance as at 28.02.2025 currently stands at Ksh. 2,311,556,433.26.

 

SCHEDULE OF TARIFFS 2023 FOR ELECTRICITY TARIFFS, CHARGES, PRICES AND RATES,FUEL ENERGY COST CHARGE

Notice is given that all prices for electrical energy specified in Part II of the Schedule will be liable to a fuel energy cost charge of plus 349 Kenya cents per kWh for all meter readings to be taken in March, 2025.

 

SCHEDULE OF TARIFFS 2023 FOR ELECTRICITY TARIFFS, CHARGES, PRICES AND RATES,FOREIGN EXCHANGE FLUCTUATION ADJUSTMENT

Notice is given that all prices for electrical energy specified in Part II of the schedule will be liable to a foreign exchange fluctuation adjustment of plus 80.70 cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in March, 2025.

 

SCHEDULE OF TARIFFS 2023 FOR ELECTRICITY TARIFFS, PRICES, CHARGES AND RATES,WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY LEVY

Notice is given that all prices for electrical energy specified in Part II -(A) of the Schedule will be liable to a Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) Levy of plus 1.28 cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in March, 2025.

DISPOSAL OF UNCOLLECTED GOODS

Several entities have issued notices for the collection of unclaimed goods, warning that failure to retrieve them within the stipulated timelines will result in disposal through public auction or private treaty to cover accrued charges.

  • Safe Gate Cargo Services Limited (Eastleigh, Nairobi) has given owners of 88 pieces of tyres 30 days to collect them upon payment of outstanding storage fees. Otherwise, the tyres will be sold, and proceeds used to settle the charges.
  • Wamula Auctioneer Services has notified the owners of a Mercedes Benz (Reg. No. KCB 300C) at Startrack Auctioneers Investment Yard Ltd and a container (No. PCIU 9150260) at Mauru Containers Limited to collect them within 30 days after clearing all dues. Failure to do so will lead to their sale.
  • Makys Auctioneers has issued a 7-day notice for the collection of unclaimed motorcycles and motor vehicles at Nkubu Police Yard. If uncollected, they will be auctioned on behalf of Nkubu Police Station.
  • Japesa Auctioneers has given owners of assorted clothes and other items at L.R. No. 36/7352, Eastleigh, a 30-day ultimatum to retrieve their property after paying all pending fees. Otherwise, the goods, accumulated over the past 10 years, will be sold under the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act.

Failure to comply within the specified period will result in the sale of the items, with proceeds used to offset outstanding charges.

CLOSURE OF DWA ESTATE LIMITED ROADS

Notice is given to the effect that all private roads and footpaths on the following Properties owned and controlled by DWA Estate Limited, i.e. L.R. No: 917/4, 3685 and 11070 will be closed to the public for a period of twenty-four (24) hours from midnight on Saturday 8th March, 2025.
