JUDICIARY
- Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court, Martha Koome, has gazetted the commencement of the Practice Directions to Standardize Practice and Procedures in the High Court from the 1st of March 2022.
- Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court, Martha Koome, has gazetted the commencement of the Practice Directions on Proceedings before the Commercial and Tax Division in Nairobi from the 1st of March 2022.
- Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court, Martha Koome, has appointed Commissioner Macharia Njeru to be a member of the Employment and Labour Relations Rules Committee, for a period of five (5) years from 20th January 2022 . *The appointment of Commissioner Mercy Mwarah Deche is revoked.

Appointments
- Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes, Margaret Kobia, has appointed Patricia Okello to be a Member of the Human Resource Management Council, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 4th January, 2022.
- CEO National Government Constituencies Development Fund Board, Yusuf Mbuno, has appointed members of National Government Constituency Development Fund Committees for a period of two (2) years, with effect from 2nd December, 2021 .
TRADE & MANUFACTURING SECTOR
- The Chief Manager, Port Operation, Rosemary Mureithi, gives notice that the gazetted goods not removed from the Customs Warehouse Kilindini within 30 days from the date of this notice, will be sold by public auction on 3rd March 2022.
- The Chief Manager, Nairobi Customs Station, Bernard Kibati, gives notice that the gazetted goods not removed from the Customs Warehouse Forodhia JKIA within 30 days from the date of this notice, will be sold by public auction on 3rd March 2022.

Environmental Impact Assessment
- The proponent, Kenya Railways (KR) proposes to rehabilitate 465km Longonot-Malaba (MGR) section to facilitate safe and efficient operation of this line. The Longonot-Malaba (MGR) Section railway line rehabilitation is located at the Rift Valley and western Kenya. NEMA invites members of the public to submit oral or written comments within thirty (30) days from 28th January 2022 to the Director-General, NEMA, to assist the Authority in the decision making process regarding this project.
- The proponent, Kenya Railways Corporation, proposes to revitalize the 217 km Nakuru-Kisumu Metre Gauge Railway (MGR), the 69.05 km Kisumu-Butere MGR, the 77.8 km Gilgil-Nyahururu MGR and the construction of the new Kisumu Railway station traversing Nakuru, Kericho and Kisumu; Kisumu. Vihiga, Siaya and Kakamega counties and Nakuru, Nyandarua and Laikipia counties, respectively, NEMA invites members of the public to submit oral or written comments within thirty (30) days from 28th January 2022 to the Director-General, NEMA, to assist the Authority in the decision making process regarding this project.
