Justice Anthony Chao Mrima has been elected as the male representative to the Judicial Service Commission by the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association (KMJA). He succeeds the late Justice David Majanja, who passed away in July. Justice Mrima won the election with 95 votes, defeating Justices Sila and Alola. Appointed as a High Court Judge in 2014, Justice Mrima has served in Kakamega, Migori, Milimani, and Kitale High Courts, as well as in the Constitutional and Human Rights Division.

On September 5th, KenGen announced the appointment of Alfred Magoi Masida as a non-executive director. This follows the resignation of Julius Ogemba, who stepped down as Chairman and director on August 8, 2024, upon his appointment as Cabinet Secretary for Education.Mr Masida is a strategic management professional with over 22 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government and a Master’s in Business Administration ,both from the University of Nairobi.Previously, he worked as Marketing Director at Ideal Office Products Limited and CEO at Kingsway Business Systems Limited. Mr Masida also served two terms as Member of Parliament for Sabatia Constituency from 2013 to 2022, where he was involved in several committees including Budget Appropriations and Special Funds.
