  • The Cabinet approved the proposal to implement new taxes on products that are imported into the country yet similar goods are being manufactured locally.
  • Former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati claimed that he was offered a bribe to alter the 2022 presidential election results in favor of Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga or force a run-off.
  • The Kericho County Assembly Speaker, Dr. Patrick Mutai, expressed fears that his life could be in danger after a mysterious vehicle allegedly trailed him to his residence in Nakuru for two days.
