Opposition leader Raila Odinga is positioning himself strategically ahead of the 2027 elections. He is making it clear that his support for President William Ruto’s administration hinges on the full implementation of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report.  

Following a surprise meeting with former President Uhuru Kenyatta in Malindi—amid President Ruto’s push for a political deal—Raila has emphasised the need for a formal, written agreement before any cooperation with Kenya Kwanza continues.
