  1. a) Why are Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) not autonomous and distinct from primary schools, despite JSS Boards of Management operating separate accounts for JSS functions?
  2. b) Why are heads of primary schools, who are neither trained nor legally mandated to supervise graduate JSS teachers, being tasked with managing JSS alongside their primary school duties, despite concerns over management conflicts and calls for administrative independence?
  3. c) Could the Cabinet Secretary also explain the Career Progression Guidelines (CPGs) applicable to all teachers, including those serving in the Junior Secondary Schools?
