Lawyer Kyalo Mbobu Assassinated
On Tuesday evening, Lawyer Kyalo Mbobu was stalked and shot dead by assailants on a motorcycle along Magadi Road. Investigators believe the attack was carefully planned, as Mbobu rarely deviates from his meticulous routine, which he did not follow on the unfortunate day of the shooting. On Tuesday, he stepped out for a meeting and returned at 2:00 pm. He usually has lunch delivered to him around 4:30 pm; however, on this day, he left early. At around 6:30 pm, just past Brookhouse International School along Magadi Road, a bend without CCTV cameras forced him to slow down, enabling the gunmen to strike. They fired multiple rounds before fleeing into traffic. His death is a loss not only to his family but also to the legal community.
