State Corporations Act (Cap. 446), Konza Technopolis Development Authority Board Appointment 

President William Ruto has appointed Abdul Bahari Ali as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Board of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority for a three-year term effective 5th June 2026. 

 

Social Health Insurance Act, 2023, Social Health Authority Board Appointments 

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has appointed Khatra Ali Abdi and Dr. Angeline Chepchirchir as members of the Social Health Authority for three years effective 5th June 2026. The appointments replace earlier appointments made through Gazette Notices Nos. 3870 and 10894 of 2025. 

 

Industrial Training Act (Cap. 237), National Industrial Training Board Re-Appointment 

Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has re-appointed Samuel Biringi Mayaka as a member of the National Industrial Training Board for a three-year term effective 9th June 2026. 

 

Kenya Maritime Authority Act (Cap. 370), Kenya Maritime Authority Board Re-Appointment 

Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Cabinet Secretary Hassan Ali Joho has re-appointed Ali Abdalla Mondo as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Maritime Authority for three years effective 5th June 2026. 

 

 

Kerio Valley Development Authority Act (Cap. 441), KVDA Board Members Re-Appointed 

East African Community, ASALs and Regional Development Cabinet Secretary Beatrice Askul Moe has re-appointed seven members to the Kerio Valley Development Authority board for a one-year term effective 5th June 2026. The members are Justina Chepnyango, Reuben Chepsongol, Rosemary Nchinyei Parengiro, Christine Jepkoech, Ambassador John Lanyasunya, Shadrack Kiptugen and Simon Kalekem. 

 

Ewaso Ng’iro North River Basin Development Authority Act (Cap. 448), ENNDA Board Members Re-Appointed 

The Cabinet Secretary for East African Community, ASALs and Regional Development has re-appointed Aden Sugow Ahmed, Lina Adikento Marleni and Melus Lodungokiok as members of the Ewaso Ng’iro North River Basin Development Authority for a one-year term effective 5th June 2026. 

 

Water Act, 2016, Coast Water Works Development Agency Board Re-Appointment 

Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eric Muriithi Mugaa has re-appointed Mbarak Hamid as a member of the Board of Directors of the Coast Water Works Development Agency for a three-year term effective 9th June 2026. 

 

World Rally Championship Safari Rally Project,Carl Tundo Appointed Chief Executive Officer 

Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya has appointed Carl Tundo as Chief Executive Officer of the World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally Project and Secretary to its Oversight Team, effective 5th June 2026. The appointment of Charles Gacheru has been revoked. 

 

Civil Aviation Act (Cap. 394), Aircraft Serious Incident Reports Released 

Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir has released serious incident investigation reports involving aircraft registrations 5Y-CCP and 5Y-BXU/N255GE. The reports are available through the Ministry of Roads and Transport. 

 

East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004, KRA Designates New Special Economic Zone Customs Areas 

The Commissioner of Customs and Border Control has appointed and defined the limits of specified Special Economic Zone (SEZ) customs areas and their entry and exit points under the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004. 

 

 

Unclaimed Financial Assets Act (No. 40 of 2011), UFAA Invites Objections to Claims on Unclaimed Assets 

The Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority (UFAA) has issued a no-objection notice after receiving claims from administrators of estates and agents seeking payment of unclaimed financial assets. Any objections must be lodged within 30 days of publication before payments are processed. 

 

Kenya Information and Communications Act (Cap. 411A), CAK Invites Public Comments on Telecommunications and Courier Licence Applications 

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) has published applications from twelve firms seeking telecommunications and courier licences, including Amazon Kuiper Kenya Limited, Uber Kenya Limited and Simbanet Com Limited. Members of the public have 30 days to submit objections or representations regarding the applications. 

 

Kenya Information and Communications Act (Cap. 411A), Communications Authority Publishes New Telecommunications Licence Applications 

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK) has announced additional telecommunications licence applications and invited members of the public to submit objections or representations within 30 days from the date of publication. 

 

Oaths and Statutory Declarations Act (Cap. 15), Ninety-Nine Advocates Appointed Commissioners for Oaths 

The Chief Justice has appointed ninety-nine advocates of the High Court of Kenya as Commissioners for Oaths. The appointments remain valid for as long as the advocates continue practising and the commissions are not revoked. 

 

Transfer of Amar Graphics Flexographic Business to Digital Flexo Fusion 

Amar Graphics Limited has announced plans to transfer its flexographic plate-making business to Digital Flexo Fusion Limited under an asset purchase agreement signed on 31st May 2026. The transfer remains subject to the fulfilment of specified conditions, with existing liabilities up to the transfer date remaining on the responsibility of Amar Graphics Limited. 

 

Jamii Distributors Placed Under Joint Administration 

Kamal Anantroy Bhatt and Jai Bhatt have been appointed Joint Administrators of Jamii Distributors (E.A.) Limited with effect from 1st April 2026. Creditors have been invited to submit claims and supporting documentation by 22nd June 2026 as the administrators take over management and control of the company’s affairs and assets. 

 

Taccazze Limited Commences Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation 

Taccazze Limited has resolved to enter creditors’ voluntary liquidation following a shareholders’ resolution passed on 2nd June 2026. Creditors have been invited to attend a virtual meeting on 16th June 2026, where the appointment of the Official Receiver as liquidator will be considered. 

 

Court Appoints Guardian and Estate Manager Under Mental Health Act 

The High Court in Mombasa has appointed Maria Pamela Rose Effie Fernandes as legal guardian and manager of the estate and affairs of Fernandes Maria Granola Reina. The appointment took effect on 14th January 2026, subject to any objections being raised within the prescribed period. 

 

Three Guardians Appointed to Manage Estate Under Mental Health Act 

The High Court Family Division in Nairobi has appointed Christopher John Mitchell, Annick Lynn Mitchell and Marc James Mitchell as legal guardians and managers of the estate and affairs of Marie-France Danielle Mitchell, subject to any objections filed within fourteen days. 

 

Buruburu Police Yards Issue Notice for Collection of Unclaimed Property 

Windsor House Auctioneers has issued a 30-day notice to owners of motorcycles and other unclaimed items held at Buruburu Traffic Base Yard and Buruburu Police Station Yard. Uncollected property will be sold through public auction following court authorization. 

 

Owners of Unclaimed Motorcycles at Matisi Police Station Given Final Notice 

Windsor House Auctioneers has notified owners of motorcycles held at Matisi Police Station to collect their property within 30 days. Any items remaining unclaimed after the notice period will be disposed of through public auction. 

 

California Police Station Unclaimed Motorcycles Set for Auction 

Owners of motorcycles detained at California Police Station have been given 30 days to claim their property. Windsor House Auctioneers will proceed with a public auction of any uncollected motorcycles after the deadline expires. 

 

Sunton Police Station Issues Disposal Notice for Unclaimed Vehicles and Motorcycles 

Windsor House Auctioneers has issued a notice requiring owners to collect unclaimed motor vehicles, motorcycles and other property held at Sunton Police Station within 30 days. Unclaimed items will be sold through public auction. 

 

Makupa Police Station Unclaimed Motorcycles and Tuk-Tuks Face Auction 

Owners of unclaimed motorcycles and motorized tricycles stored at Makupa Police Station in Mombasa have been given 30 days to collect them. Failure to do so will result in disposal through public auction. 

 

Mavoko Police Yard Motorcycles Scheduled for Disposal 

Racecourse Auctioneers has issued a notice to owners and custodians of motorcycles stored at Mavoko SNP Police Yard to collect them within 30 days. Any motorcycles left unclaimed will be auctioned on behalf of the police station. 

 

Owners of Three Vehicles Given Notice to Clear Repair and Storage Charges 

Westbound Auctioneers has issued a disposal notice for motor vehicles registration numbers KTTC 276F, KCQ 182H and KBR 417S currently held at Mugaa Garage in Nairobi West. Owners have 30 days to settle outstanding charges and collect the vehicles before they are sold. 

 

Samco Auto Garage Moves to Dispose of Four Unclaimed Vehicles 

Samco Auto Garage has issued a 30-day notice to owners of four vehicles, including Ford Ranger and Volkswagen models, currently stored at its Industrial Area premises in Nairobi. Unclaimed vehicles will be sold by public auction to recover storage and repair costs. 

 

Ruaka Business Issues Auction Notice for Unclaimed Gambling Equipment 

High Class Auctioneers has given owners of gambling equipment stored at Ruaka Square Shopping Centre along Limuru Road 30 days to collect their property and settle storage charges. The items will be sold through public auction if left unclaimed.
