The President of the Republic of Kenya has appointed Kosiom Frank Ole Kibelekenya as an Ambassador within the Foreign Service of the Republic of Kenya, pursuant to the powers conferred under Article 132(2)(e) of the Constitution. The appointment takes effect from 23rd March 2026.

National Economic and Social Council – Amendment

The President has amended the National Economic and Social Council framework, revising its leadership, expanding membership to include Cabinet Secretaries and experts, broadening its advisory mandate on economic and social policy, and relocating the Secretariat to the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary.

Kenya Urban Support Programme Phase Two – Urban Development Grant

The Government has allocated conditional additional funds to county governments and respective municipalities under the Kenya Urban Support Programme Phase Two, financed through an International Development Association (World Bank) credit. The allocations apply to the 2025/2026 financial year for urban development grants, replacing previous allocations issued under Gazette Notice No. 1442 of 2026.
