The Statutory Instruments Act, Regulatory Impact Statement
The Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry has issued a public notification regarding the preparation of a Regulatory Impact Statement. This statement assesses the effects of the proposed Draft Climate Change (Carbon Trading) Regulations, 2025 and the Draft Climate Change (Non-Market Approaches) Regulations, 2025 on the public.

The Speaker of the County Assembly of Isiolo informed the Speaker of the Senate of the approval of a Motion for the removal from office by impeachment of Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, the Governor of Isiolo County. The Speaker of the Senate has appointed Monday, 30th June, 2025, as a day for a special sitting of the Senate. The sitting shall be held in the Senate Chamber, Main Parliament Buildings, Nairobi, commencing at 10.00 a.m.
