The Civil Procedure Act (Cap. 21), Environment And Land Court Act (No. 19 of 2011), Establishment Of An Environment And Land Court Sub- Registry At Maralal Law Courts 

The Chief Justice has established an Environment and Land Court Sub-Registry at Maralal Law Courts, Samburu County with effect from 1st July 2026.

The Chief Justice has established an Environment and Land Court at Mavoko, based at the new Mavoko Law Courts Building, Machakos County, with effect from 1st July 2026.

The Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development has appointed 29 Inspectors as per the Pest Control Products.

The Wildlife Conservation And Management Act (Cap. 376), Mara Naboisho Conservancy Management Plan, 2026–2030 

The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife has gazetted the Mara Naboisho Conservancy Management Plan (2026–2030), which provides a framework for wildlife conservation, livestock management, tourism development, community livelihoods, and conservancy operations. 

The Public Finance Management Act (Cap. 412A), The Public Finance Management (National Government Affirmative Action Fund) Regulations (Sub. Leg.) The County National Government Affirmative Action Fund Committees, Appointment 

The Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture and Children Services has appointed members of the County National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) Committees across Kenya’s counties for a three-year term effective 3 February 2026. 

The National Museums And Heritage Act (Cap. 216) Declaration Of A Monument 

The Cabinet Secretary for Gender, Culture and Children Services has declared the Manyimbo World War Cemetery in Mombasa County a National Monument under the National Museums and Heritage Act, citing its historical significance. Any objections to the declaration must be submitted to the Cabinet Secretary within 60 days of the notice’s publication. 

The College Of Arms Act (Cap. 98) Appointment  

The Attorney-General has appointed Agnes Ogada (Dr.), Mutua Matheka, Alex Kobia and Sebawali Mwakai Sio, to be the Members of the College of Arms, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 29th May 2026. 

High Court Of Kenya, August Recess, 2026 

The Judiciary has announced that the August 2026 recess for the High Court and Courts of Equal Status will run from 1 August to 15 September 2026. During this period, designated duty judges will handle urgent matters, while court registries and offices will remain open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding public holidays. 

Republic Of Kenya, The National Treasury And Economic Planning, Statement Of Actual Revenues And Net Exchequer Issues as at 29th May 2026 

The National Treasury has published the Statement of Actual Revenues and Net Exchequer Issues as at 29 May 2026, showing total government receipts of KSh 4.08 trillion against revised estimates of KSh 5.16 trillion, with an exchequer balance of KSh 21.84 billion. The statement details revenue collection, borrowing, recurrent and development expenditures, and county transfers, including KSh 346.5 billion disbursed to county governments out of the KSh 415 billion equitable share allocation for FY 2025/26. 

The Mental Health Act (Cap. 248) In The High Court Of Kenya At Nairobi (Family Division) Appointment 

The High Court in Nairobi has appointed Elizabeth Nyambura Mwangi Njuguna and Jacinta Wanjiru Mwangi as legal guardians and managers of the estate and affairs of Mary Wangari Mwangi under the Mental Health Act. Any person wishing to oppose the appointment must enter an appearance and show cause within 14 days of the publication of the notice.

The High Court in Nairobi has appointed Amos Kiprotich Kimebur as the legal guardian and manager of the estate and affairs of Pauline Kanaiza Masambu under the Mental Health Act. Any person seeking to challenge the appointment must enter an appearance and show cause within 14 days of the publication of the notice.

Manowar Khan Juma Khan has filed a bankruptcy petition before the High Court in Nairobi, seeking a bankruptcy order on the grounds that he is unable to pay his debts. Creditors may appear in court to support or oppose the petition and must notify the petitioner of their intention to do so. 

The Environmental Management And Co-Ordination Act (Cap. 387), National Environment Management Authority Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report For The Proposed Athi Dam And Associated Irrigation Water Conveyance System Within Tsavo East National Park, Taita Taveta County, Invitation Of Public Comments 

NEMA has received an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Study Report for the proposed Athi Dam and associated irrigation water conveyance system within Tsavo East National Park, to be implemented by the National Irrigation Authority. The project is expected to support irrigation and water management but may have environmental impacts on wildlife, habitats, water resources, and local ecosystems, with mitigation measures proposed; members of the public have 30 days to submit comments before NEMA makes a decision on the project. 

Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act (Cap. 38) Disposal Of Uncollected Goods 

Notice is given by Tamfeeds Ltd t/a Chungamali Self Storage, Kenya Bus Management Services Limited, Motor Renewers, and Fancy Friends Auctioneers in respect of stored furniture, a bus, and multiple motor vehicles. Failure to collect the goods within the stipulated period will result in their disposal through public auction or private treaty to recover accrued costs.
