The Chief Justice has established a Tribunals Appeals Division of the High Court at the Milimani Law Courts, effective 1 July 2026, pursuant to sections 11 and 12(3) of the High Court (Organization and Administration) Act, 2015. The Division will hear appeals from tribunals whose appeals lie with the High Court, except those arising from the Tax Appeals Tribunal.

The Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports has postponed the National Youth Council Elections that were scheduled for 5–26 July 2026 to facilitate compliance with voter education requirements under the National Youth Council (Election of Certain Council Members) Regulations, 2021. The elections have been rescheduled as follows: Ward Level Elections on 9 October 2026, Constituency Level Elections on 16 October 2026, and National Youth Congress Elections on 30 October 2026.

The Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry has appointed Sheila Chepkorir Kosgei as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Environmental Management Authority for a three-year term, effective 10 July 2026.

The Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development has amended Gazette Notice No. 1954 of 27 January 2025 by revoking the appointments of Jackie Muia and Roselyne Chepkirui, and appointing Michael Nyaga, Esther Njeri, Alfred Matiangi, and Geoffrey Mureithi as members of the Working Committee. All other provisions of Gazette Notice No. 1954 remain in force.

THE MINING ACT (Cap. 306), THE MINING (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT) REGULATIONS (L.N. 148 of 2017)
A Community Development Agreement Committee has been established under the Mining (Community Development Agreement) Regulations, 2017, in respect of the Community Development Agreement between the Kishushe Community in Wundanyi Sub-County, Taita Taveta County, and Karsan Samruddha Resources Kenya Limited (Licence No. ML/2024/0154). The Committee comprises the individuals appointed under the respective categories set out in regulation 7(1), effective 16 April 2026.
THE MINING ACT (Cap. 306)
The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs has notified the receipt of an application for a mining licence from Chaju Builders Limited under section 34 of the Mining Act. The application has been published for public comment for 42 days from the date of the notice, during which any person or community may submit objections to the Cabinet Secretary.
THE TEACHERS SERVICE COMMISSION ACT (Cap. 212)
The Teachers Service Commission has removed the listed individuals from the Register of Teachers following disciplinary proceedings, pursuant to sections 30(1)(e) and 30(2) of the Teachers Service Commission Act. The notice further reiterates that deregistered individuals are prohibited from teaching unless reinstated by the Commission, and outlines the penalties for engaging or employing unregistered teachers under the Act and the Code of Regulations for Teachers.
THE KENYA INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS ACT (Cap. 411A)
The Communications Authority of Kenya has published applications for various communications licences submitted under the Kenya Information and Communications Act. The applications cover Commercial Free-to-Air Television, Subscription Broadcasting Services, National Postal/Courier Operator, Network Facilities Provider (Tier 2 and Tier 3), and International Gateway Systems and Services licences.
