The Chief Justice has announced that the Supreme Court August recess will run from 1st August to 15th September 2026, during which a duty judge will handle urgent matters and the registry will remain open on weekdays.

The Chief Justice has designated Hon Stephen Jalang’o Senior Principal Magistrate as an Adjudicator at the Milimani Small Claims Court in Nairobi for a period of twelve months effective 1st July 2026.

The Water Services Regulatory Board has approved an upward tariff adjustment for Wajir Water and Sewerage Company Limited for the period 2026/2027 to 2028/2029, setting revised water charges, service conditions and subsidy requirements to support service delivery and sustainability.
