The Urban Areas and Cities Act – Appointment

Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Alice Wahome, has selected several persons to be members of the Ad hoc committee for delineation of the boundaries of Wang’uru and Sagana/Kagio, with effect from the 1st March, 2025.

The Mining Act

Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Ali Hassan Joho, notified receipt of an application for mining licence from several companies. Any objection by any person or Community against the grant of the mining licences may be submitted to the Cabinet Secretary within forty-two days from the 17th of April 2025.

The Societies Act 

Attorney-General Dorcas Oduor appointed Teresia Wanjiku Gathagu to be the Registrar of Societies.

The Counsellors and Psychologists Act.

• Several persons have been gazetted as registered Counsellors and Psychologists as at April, 2025.

The Companies Act – Intentions for Dissolution.

• It is notified that within three (3) months from 17th April 2025, several companies shall unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the register of companies and the company shall be dissolved.
• It is also notified for general information that several companies have been dissolved.
