Appointments
- The Cabinet Secretary for Public Service and Gender has appointed members of Constituency Uwezo Fund Committees and members of Uwezo Fund Management Committee for various constituencies for a period of three (3) years.
- The Cabinet Secretary Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works has established the National Air Transport Facilitation Committee pursuant to the provisions of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago, 1944) Article 37 and Annex 9.
FINANCE SECTOR
- The National Treasury has published the Statement of Actual Revenues and Net Exchequer Issues as at 31st March, 2021.
- The Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Agency Director has given notice to Mubadala Merchants Limited and three others that the High Court has issued preservation orders in Nairobi High Court Miscellaneous Application No. E009 of 2021.
ENERGY SECTOR
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority has published prices for electrical energy liable to:
- a fuel energy cost charge of plus 314 Kenya cents per kWh for all meter readings to be taken in April 2021
- a foreign exchange fluctuation adjustment of plus 81.67 cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in April 2021
- a Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) levy of plus 1.80 cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in April 2021.

LAND AND ENVIRONMENT

Environmental Impact Assessment
- Riara Delta Limited proposes, to construct residential apartments comprising three Blocks A, B and C. The Basement will comprise 206 parking spaces. Block A will comprise a 9 floors with 17 No. one-bedroom units, 17 No. two-bedroom units, 31 No. studio units and a Terrace. Block B will comprise 14 floors with 28 No. one-bedroom units, 28 No. two-bedroom units, 52 No. Studio units and a terrace. Block C will comprise a 17 floors with 28 No. onebedroom units, 30 No. two-bedroom units, 55 No. studio units and a terrace, all amounting to a total of 286 units on plot L.R. No. 330/349 along Riara road, Dagoretti North Sub-county in Nairobi City County.
- Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency, proposes to rehabilitate existing problematic lines in lower CBD; extension along the bypass highway to connect Nyamasaria lines better from Kibuye reservoir; and reinforcement of existing lines in Kadero area. A total of five kilometres of water pipeline will be layed during the works. With regard to sanitation facilities, the general scope of works will involve rehabilitation of 11.962km of sewer line and extension of 20.927km of the line within Kisumu County.
- Jiangxi Junjie Real Estate Development Company Limited, proposes to construct a Residential Cum Commercial Development comprising of 3blocks of 18 storey each, with hotel Block A comprising three hundred and seventy-five (375) serviced rooms, twenty-four (24) one- bedroom units, VIP moms, conference halls. Block B and C comprising two hundred and ninety-two (292) serviced rooms, one hundred (100) two-bedroom units, thirty-four (34) one bedroom units, office spaces, basement parking levels, lifts, CCTV cameras, backup generator, sewerage system, boundary ‘walls and other associated amenities and facilities on Plot L.R. No. 4858/4 along Ring Road, Kileleshwa Area, Nairobi City County.
- Jinshang Company Limited proposes to construct a single 17-storey residential block comprising 64No. studio apartments, 160No. one bedroom apartments, 64No. two-bedroom apartments and 16No. three-bedroom apartments totaling 304No. units, parking, guard house, protected dustbin cubicles, a sewer, four lifts on plot L.R No. 1/887 along Wood Avenue, Kilimani, Nairobi City County.

TRADE AND MANUFACTURING
- The Customs and Border Control Department has published a list of goods in the Customs Warehouse –Kilindini and issued a Notice that if they will not be entered and removed from the Warehouse within thirty (30) days they may be sold by public auction on 20th May, 2021. Interested buyers may view the goods at AWD, FOC, CWHSE, MTS, GSECT, CCF, MCF, CNT, MICD, BFI, RLC, IIL, MCT, MIT on 18th and 19th May, 2021 during office hours.
