Appointments

• His Excellency Hon. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces has appointed Abdullatif Essajee Khaderbhai, Hassan Ahmednur Baricha, as Commissioners of the Commission of Inquiry into the Shakahola Tragedy established vide Gazette Notice No. 5660 of 2023.
• His Excellency Hon. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces has appointed Mohammad Dori (Amb.), Abdisalam Sheikh Mohamed, Sujurtha Kotamraju, Bishop Amos Lewa, as members of the Presidential Taskforce on Review of the Legal and Regulatory Framework Governing Religious Organisations established vide Gazette Notice No. 5661 of 2023.
• H.E. Martha K. Koome, Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya, has designated 62 Judicial Officers as Adjudicators in any proceedings under the Act in the areas of jurisdiction of their current court stations and future stations deployed to, from time to time, for a period of twelve (12) months, with effect from 1st June 2023.
• The Judicial Service Commission has appointed Hon. Bernard OchoiI to be the acting Chairperson of the Water Tribunal, for a period of six (6) months, with effect from 12 May 2023.
