Hon. Paul Ndemo Maina

Hon. Paul Ndemo Maina, OGW, has been appointed as the Spokesperson of the Judiciary. He was previously the Deputy Chief Registrar. The Chief Justice, in a notice, said his appointment seeks to enhance engagement with the public and transparency. Ndemo will lead efforts to offer effective communication within the government and engage stakeholders.
As the Judiciary Spokesperson, he will serve as the primary point of contact for disseminating official information, clarifying matters related to judicial processes, and addressing public inquiries. Ndemo joined the Judiciary in August 2018 as the Deputy Registrar. Prior to this, he worked at the office of the Director of Public Prosecution from 2008 to 2018, where he rose in rank to Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecution. Mr. Ndemo holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of International Studies degree from the same university. He also holds a certificate in Strategic and Security Studies from the National Defence College, Nairobi. He was admitted to the Bar in 1998.
