- The Central Bank of Kenya updated the denominations of Kenyan currency banknotes, including new security features and signatures, while maintaining their legal tender status alongside the existing 2019 series, with the release starting from the KES 1,000 note.
New Cabinet
- Kenya marked a fresh start as the National Assembly approved the appointment of 19 Cabinet Secretaries with the exception of Ms. Stella Soi Langat who had been nominated for the Ministry of Gender, Culture, Arts, and Heritage. The new cabinet was sworn in in a ceremony presided by H.E. President William Ruto
