On Monday 28th

  1.     President William Ruto assured Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja of his unwavering support in ensuring nightclubs within residential areas are closed down.
  2.     President Ruto called for peace from the Azimio la Umoja coalition. He urged the members to criticize his government but ensure that they uphold peace.
  3.     IEBC vice chair Julian Cherera changed her tune from earlier sentiments on her ouster petition where she said that there was no jurisdiction over the matter.
  4.     The High Court slammed the government’s plan to gazette and import GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) foods. 
  5.     A section of Kenyans protested outside Parliament buildings to protest the bid to remove the four IEBC commissioners from office.

On Tuesday 29th,

  •       Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga met with opposition MPs ahead of planned demonstrations to protest against the ouster of the four IEBC commissioners.

On 30th November

President William Ruto launched the Hustler fund which was one of his campaign agenda to Kenyans.

 

On Thursday 1st, December

  • President William Ruto gazetted all the 51 Principal Secretary nominees who will work under his administration. The gazettement came hours after MPs approved all of them after vetting by various departmental committees.
  • MPs defied the protest from the Minority in Parliament to approve all 51 Principal Secretaries nominated by President William Ruto. 
  • The National Assembly approved radical amendments to the law on the panel that will select, interview and pick the next IEBC commissioners
