The Governor of Kisumu County has revoked the appointment of Lordvick Otieno as a Board Member of Maseno-Holo Municipality.

The Governor of Kisumu County has transferred a range of urban service delivery functions from county departments to the municipalities of Ahero-Awasi, Maseno-Holo, Kombewa-Bodi, Katito-Pap Onditi and Muhoroni-Chemelil, effective 1^st July 2026.

The CECM for Health Services in Migori County has appointed board members for Migori County Referral Hospital and multiple sub-county hospitals, including Muhuru, Karungu, Macalder, Rongo, Awendo, Uriri, Kehancha, Nyamragaa, Isibania, Oyani, Ntimaru, Kegonga, God Kwer, Isibania, and Dede Sub-County Hospitals.

The County Assembly of Nyeri has issued its 2026 calendar outlining three main sittings between 10 February and 2 December 2026, alternating with short and long recess periods. The Assembly will sit on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in morning and afternoon sessions, with flexibility to hold additional sittings as may be required.

The County Government of Siaya has announced its intention to prepare the Usenge Town Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan starting 18 May 2026 to guide the town’s 10-year growth, land use zoning, and development control, with a vision of developing Usenge into a port city. Members of the public are invited to submit comments within 21 days to the CECM for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development.

The County Government of Garissa announces completion of multiple Part Development Plans for KOSAP mini-grid power sites across several towns (including Dertu, Dujis, Maalimin, Kotile, Shantabak, and others), all finalized on 25th May 2026 to formalise existing energy infrastructure sites. The plans are available for public inspection, and any objections or representations must be submitted to the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development within 60 days.
