THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF MOMBASA EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 14 OF 2025 ESTABLISHMENT OF THE MOMBASA COUNTY HEALTH RESOURCE MOBILIZATION TASKFORCE 

The Governor of Mombasa County has established the Health Resource Mobilization Taskforce to mobilize resources, develop strategies, and explore a Medical City to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, research, and innovation. Chaired by Professor Marleen Temmerman with support from the Mombasa Investment Corporation, the Taskforce will serve 12 months, report quarterly and finally to the Governor, effective 4th November 2025. 

THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND CO-ORDINATION ACT (Cap. 387) ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT STUDY REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED LPG STORAGE TANKS REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT VIVO ENERGY FUEL TERMINAL ON PLOT TITLE NO. MOMBASA/BLOCK 1/78 IN SHIMANZI, MOMBASA COUNTY INVITATION OF PUBLIC COMMENTS 

NEMA has received an EIA report for Vivo Energy Kenya’s project to decommission 2 old LPG tanks (515 MT) and install 4 new tanks (400 MT) at their Shimanzi terminal, Mombasa County. The report, covering environmental, health, safety, traffic, and fire risks with mitigation measures, is available at NEMA offices and online (www.nema.go.ke). The Governor has nominated Antony Kibet Ngeno as a member of the Municipality of Kilgoris Board and forward his name for vetting by the County Assembly of Narok.

The Governor has nominated Rachael Karei (Dr.), Solomon Ikote ole Muntet (Dr.)Lilian Kelemet, Bishop. Augustine K. Rugutt, Kantim MwanikRahab N. Kenana and Jane Joseph Wanjiku as members of the Municipality of Narok Board and hereby forward their names for vetting by the County Assembly of Narok. 

THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT (Cap. 265) THE WATER ACT (No. 43 of 2016) APPOINTMENT 

The Governor has appointed Philip Lekakeny LimpasoLilian Kisiwa KiuBen Lemuta RekoChepkoech Daisy and Ann Cherono, as members of the Transmara Water and Sanitation Sewerage Services Company Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 24th February 2026.  

THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT ACT (Cap. 265) THE PUBLIC APPOINTMENTS (COUNTY ASSEMBLIES APPROVAL) ACT (No. 5 of 2017) APPOINTMENT 

 The Governor has appointed Collins Oloitiptip Saruni to be the Acting Secretary of the Narok County Public Service Board. 

Kilifi  THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND CO-ORDINATION ACT (Cap. 387) COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KILIFI APPOINTMENT 

The Governor of Kilifi County has appointed members to the County Environment Committee for three years, including county directors, law enforcement, university, farmers, NGOs, and business representatives, with the County Environment Executive as Chair and the NEMA County Director as Secretary.

The Governor of Kilifi County, Gideon Maitha Mung’aro, has appointed members to the Kilifi County Climate Change Committee for a three-year term, including the Chief Officer for Climate Change as Chair, the Funds Administrator as Secretary, county directors, and representatives from public benefit organizations, business, women, and youth.

Turkana   THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT, (Cap. 265) TURKANA COUNTY BIASHARA FUND ACT, 2025, THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TURKANA, THE TURKANA COUNTY BIASHARA FUND BOARD, APPOINTMENT 

The Governor of Turkana County, Jeremiah Ekamais Lomorukai Napotikan, has appointed members to the Turkana County Biashara Fund Board for a three-year term, including a Chairperson, Members, the County Attorney, Chief Officer for Trade and Co-operatives, and the Fund Administrator as Secretary, to perform functions under Section 13 of the Turkana County Biashara Fund Act, 2025. 

THE CONSTITUTION OF KENYA THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT (Cap. 265) THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS ACT (Cap. 265F) COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TURKANA INTERGOVERNMENTAL PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT ON ISSUANCE OF BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS BETWEEN THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TURKANA DATED 14TH JANUARY 2026 

The National Government and Turkana County Government entered an Intergovernmental Partnership Agreement on 14th January 2026 for bursaries and scholarships, aiming to promote transparency, resource sharing, equitable access, and cooperation in education across all levels in Turkana County. The Agreement can be inspected at the Ministry of Education, Jogoo House B, Nairobi, and the County Secretary’s Office, Turkana County Headquarters. 

THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT (Cap. 265) COUNTY ASSEMBLY OF TURKANA COUNTY ASSEMBLY OF TURKANA STANDING ORDERS. CALENDER OF THE COUNTY ASSEMBLY 

Pursuant to Standing Order No. 33, the County Assembly of Turkana approved its 2026 sitting calendar. Sessions run Tuesday–Thursday (morning and afternoon as specified) with recess periods in April, June, July, and December. Morning sessions: 9:00 am–12:30 pm; afternoon: 2:30 pm–6:30 pm. Special sittings will be gazetted. 

THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT (Cap. 303) COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TURKANA COMPLETION OF PART DEVELOPMENT PLANS 

Turkana County has completed 34 part development plans for various KAG Church sites. Copies are available for free inspection at the County Director of Physical Planning, Lodwar, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Representations or objections may be submitted in writing within 60 days of this notice, stating the grounds, to the County Director of Physical Planning, P.O. Box 11–30500, Lodwar. 

Marsabit  THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT (Cap. 265) MARSABIT COUNTY HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT BOARD APPOINTMENT 

The Governor of Marsabit County, Mohamud Mohamed Ali, has appointed members to the Level 4 and 5 Hospital Boards of Marsabit County, including Marsabit County Teaching and Referral, Moyale, Sololo, Laisamis, and Kalacha hospitals, for a three-year term effective 20th February 2026.

The County Assembly of Kitui informs the public that, by resolution on 18th February 2026, the Assembly Calendar for 2026 (Fifth Session) has been approved. Regular sittings will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.), with recesses on specified dates.
