The National Land Commission on behalf of Kenya Railways Corporation gives notice that the National Government intends to acquire Plot No. L.R. No. 10572 Registered to Tisco Construction Limited and Measuring 0.8000 Acres as part of Standard Gauge Railway Phase I.

In line with this, they have given notice that an inquiry to hear claims to compensation for the interested parties in the land will be at 316, Upper Hill Chambers Building, 20th Floor, on 4th December, 2025.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT STUDY REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS

INVITATION OF PUBLIC COMMENTS

The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmental Impact Assessment Study Report for the above proposed project.

The proponent, Rarlon Estate Development Company Limited, proposes to develop a 19 Storey residential apartment comprising of a total of 361No. Units, 3No.basements and a ground floor for 197No. car Parking spaces. Typical 1st to 19th floors will comprise of 152No. One-bedroom units, 171No. Two-bedroom units and 38 No. Studio units. The roof plan will consist of a restaurant, gym, swimming pool, changing rooms other associated amenities and facilities on Nairobi/Block 23/895 along Oloitoktok Road in Kileleshwa Area, Dagoretti North Sub-County within Nairobi City County.

The National Land Commission intends to acquire additional parcels of land on behalf of Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) gives notice that national Government intends to delete, correct, and add the gazetted parcels of land for the Construction of Nyali Bridge-Mtwapa-kwa Kadzengo-Kilifi Road in Mombasa County.

INQUIRY

They have also given notice of inquiry for the hearing of claim to compensation for interested parties in the land required for the dualling of Nyali Bridge-Mtwapa-kwa KadzengoKilifi Road that shall be held on 20th to 23rd January 2026.

The proponent, Wilkawa Holdings Limited, proposes to construct and operate a waste Oil Storage and Handling Facility consisting of two tank farms for used oil storage, Interceptor, Office block, Repairs to existing perimeter wall and guard house, concrete paving of the entire yard, storm water drains, installation of safety appliances with amenities related to operation of used oil transfer station on plot L.R. No. 431/6/VI/2382/Chaani Area, Changamwe Sub-county, Mombasa County

The National Land Commission on behalf of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mining, State Department of Petroleum gives notice that, inquiry to hear claims to compensation for the interested parties in the land required for the project shall be held at:

  1. Nakukulas Chief’s office from 16 – 17th and 18 – 19th December, 2025 from 10.00 a.m

Kericho  COUNTY ASSEMBLY SITTINGS OUTSIDE THE COUNTY ASSEMBLY

CHAMBERS

The Kericho County Assembly has announced that it will hold its upcoming sittings outside the official chambers, in line with constitutional and legal provisions that promote public participation in county governance. The decision, made on 11 November 2025, is intended to bring legislative processes closer to the people and enhance public awareness of the Assembly’s work.

On 17 November 2025, the Assembly will sit at Kericho Township TTI in Ainamoi Ward, where members will consider the Committee on Appointments’ report on the approval hearing for the Selection Panel of the County Public Service Board. They will also deliberate on the Kericho County Youth Development Bill, 2024, moving it through the Committee of the Whole House and Third Reading.

On 18 November 2025, the sitting will take place at Chepkemel Primary School Grounds in Kaplelartet Ward. During this session, the Assembly will discuss the Committee on Appointments’ report on the approval hearing for the Selection Panel of the County Secretary and Head of County Public Service. The Kericho County Community Health Services Bill, 2024, will also be considered at the Committee of the Whole House and Third Reading stages.

It is notified for the general information of the members of the County Assembly of Nyamira and the general public that there shall be a special sitting for the County Assembly on Monday, the 17th November, 2025, at 10.00 a.m.

The business to be transacted at the special sitting shall be to give notice of motion for removal from office, the Governor, Amos Nyaribo, by a way of impeachment.
