County Notice
Makueni The Makueni County Executive Committee Member for Health Services has established six Primary Health Care Networks (PCNs) and appointed new Hospital Board members for various sub-county hospitals, effective 1st August 2024. The PCNs aim to enhance primary health care delivery and access, while the new boards will improve governance and operational efficiency in the county’s health system.
Kakamega The Kakamega County Draft Valuation Roll is now available for public inspection from 16th September to 14th October 2024. It can be viewed at the County Department of Lands, Housing, Urban Areas and Physical Planning offices and all twelve sub-county headquarters. Property owners and other interested parties can lodge objections to the draft roll, with a non-refundable fee of KSh. 1,000, by 14th October 2024. Payments should be made to Kakamega County Revenue Collection at KCB Kakamega, Account Number 1141473194.
Lamu The Lamu County Government has completed the preparation of the following Local Physical and Land Use Development Plans: Vipingoni, Pangani Farms, Sendeni/Simambae, and Kizingitini Newtown and Farms. The plans were finalized on 9th August 2024 and are available for public inspection at the CECM, Lands and Physical Planning office in Lamu. Comments or objections can be sent to dir.physicalplanning@lamu.go.ke within sixty days.
Tana River The Tana River County Government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development, has commenced the preparation of a Part Development Plan for Ghala Informal Settlement in Hola, starting 2nd September 2024. The plan aims to enhance access to basic services and secure land tenure for residents. Comments on the plan can be submitted to the County Executive Committee Member for Lands and Physical Planning by 23rd September 2024.
Taita Taveta The Taita Taveta County Government has completed the Local Physical and Land Use Plan for L.R. No. 12922 as of 6th August 2024. The plan is available for public inspection at the CECM for Lands, Physical Planning, Mining, and Urban Development office in Wundanyi. Comments can be submitted to the CECM by 13th October 2024.
Wajir The Wajir County Government will begin preparing the Wajir Municipality Local and Physical Land Use Plan on 16th September 2024. The plan aims to support integrated socio-economic development, manage growth, and address infrastructure needs. Comments on the plan can be sent to the CECM for Lands, Housing, Public Works, and Urban Development by 16th October 2024.
Nyamira Adjusted Calendar Notice

Pursuant to Standing Order 27, the County Assembly of Nyamira has approved its calendar for the third session. The Assembly will sit from 13th February to 5th December 2024, with scheduled recesses. Morning sittings begin at 9:30 a.m., and afternoon sittings at 2:30 p.m. The Assembly may hold additional sittings outside this calendar.

Kisii Gusii Water and Sanitation Company (GWASCO) Declustering Taskforce Appointment.The taskforce, appointed on 6th September 2024, includes members from Kisii and Nyamira Counties, along with GWASCO officers. Its mandate includes evaluating the commercial viability of new water service providers, advising on de-clustering logistics, and conducting public participation. The taskforce will submit regular progress reports and a final report with recommendations.
Bungoma Establishment of Bungoma County Irrigation Development Unit

The County Public Service Board of Bungoma has established the Bungoma County Irrigation Development Unit to improve service delivery, effective immediately.
