• The Governor has appointed various persons to a Taskforce to inquire into the operations of Amatsi Water Services Company Limited (a county government entity), to establish the causes of the company’s inability to meet its objectives and to make recommendations on the measures to be taken to transform the company to a level of self-sustenance and capacity to deliver on its core mandate of water service provision and sanitation.

The Taskforce has twenty-one (21) days from the date of appointment to submit its findings and recommendations to the Governor,

• The County Executive Committee for Public Service Management and ICT appoints numerous persons to serve as members of the respective sub-county alcoholic drinks control and regulation committees, for a period of three (3) years, effective from 3rd March 2023.

• The Governor has appointed various persons to be County Chief Officers.
• The Governor has appointed various persons to be members of the Kwale County Environment Committee for a period of three (3) years.

• The County Government of Machakos appoints Herbert Were, Jane C. Kairanya and Wanjiku Ng’anga as the County Valuers to prepare the Draft Valuation Roll for Machakos County.
• The County Government of Machakos adopts the “Time of Valuation” for the purpose of preparing “The Draft Valuation Roll, 2024, as at 31st December 2023.
