The Governor, County Government of Narok, has made an addition to the County Government of Narok Portfolio structure for the current Department of Water, Energy, Environment Natural Resources to be as follows: Water, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change.
The Governor of Narok County, has appointed a Technical Officer in charge of the following County Government of Narok Departments and National Institutions in the County as the Narok County Climate Change Fund Steering Committee.
(a) Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries;
(b) Disaster Management;
(c) Water, Sanitation and Irrigation;
(d) County Meteorological Department;
(e) Kenya Forest Services;
(f) Finance and Economic Planning;
( g) National Environment Management Authority: and
(h) National Drought Management Authority.
