Meru  The Mining Act, Appointment. The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs, appointed the following members of the Meru County Artisanal Mining Committee for a period of three years, effective 1st October 2024:Jackson Muthamia, Shadrack Nzaliu, Kirimi Mwiandi, John Kinyua Mugira, Damiano Kaaria Kamau, Purity Muthoni Kinyua, Daisy Maina and Ndumbi Mwenda Thaa.
Kirinyaga  County Governments Act, Revocation of Appointment. The County Executive Committee Member for Medical Services, Public Health, and Sanitation has revoked the appointments of the Kirinyaga County Hospitals Management Committee Members and the Kirinyaga County Facility Improvement Fund Board members as per Gazette Notice Nos. 13372 and 13373 of 2024. 
Kisumu Office of the County Attorney Act, Appointment of County Attorney. Nashon Otieno Aluoka Ogolla has been appointed as the County Attorney for Kisumu County for a period of six years, effective from 1st October 2024. 
Homabay  Environmental Impact Assessment Report, Proposed Gold Ore Mining and Processing Plant. NEMA invites public comments on the Assessment for a gold ore mining and processing plant by Spirit Mining Kenya Limited. Located in Kabuoch South Pala Ward, Homabay County, the project will use surface and underground mining methods. Facilities will include a smelting furnace, CIL system, and tailings dam. 
Completion of Part Development Plans in Homabay. The preparation of Part Development Plans for the proposed Yazmark International Mother and Child Hospital (PDP No. HBCG/162/2024/02) and Manda University (PDP No. HBCG/162/2024/03) has been completed as of 8th October 2024. The plans relate to land in Homa Bay County and are available for public inspection at the office of the CECM for Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, and Urban Development, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Nairobi Environmental Impact Assessment Report, Proposed Residential Apartments in Kilimani. NEMA invites public comments for residential apartments proposed by Anno Investments Limited on Plot L.R. No. Nairobi Block 19/610, Kilimani, Nairobi. The project includes three basements, ground and mezzanine floors for parking, and 177 residential units (53 two-bedroom, 123 one-bedroom, and 1 duplex) across 2nd to 19th floors.
Turkana Completion of Part Development Plans in Turkana. The preparation of several Part Development Plans has been completed as of 2nd September 2024, including sites for the Mission of Hope and Selesians of Don Bosco Technical Institutes, as well as the Al-Momin Islamic Centre and Al-Nur Primary School. Copies are available for public inspection at the County Director of Physical Planning’s office in Lodwar, free of charge. Interested individuals may submit representations or objections within sixty (60) days to the County Director of Physical Planning, P.O. Box 11, Lodwar.
Uasin Gishu Completion of Development Plans in Uasin Gishu. The following Physical and Land Use Development Plans have been completed: Eldoret Main Stage and Main Market, Legio Maria Church, Huruma Eldoret, Ziwa Machine Local Physical and Land Use Development Plan. Copies are available for public inspection at the County Director’s office, Ardhi House, Eldoret. Interested individuals can submit comments or objections within sixty (60) days to the County Executive Committee Member for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, P.O. Box 40–30100 Eldoret.
Laikipia Laikipia County Public Service Board Appointment. Governor Joshua Wakahora Irungu has appointed various individuals to the Laikipia County Public Service Board, following approval from the County Assembly on 16th October 2024, including: Chairperson: Macharia wa Gakiri and members: Dr. Mbacho, Naomi Watetu and Veronica Wangui Gakenga.
