KAKAMEGA COUNTYThe Governor has established a Committee on Implementation of the Mumias Land Taskforce Report.The Governor has appointed a Chairperson and Members to the Appeals Panel of the Kakamega County Land Application, Extension of Leases and Land Administration Committee to hear and determine appeals in respect of the decision by the County Government of Kakamega to repossess allocated but undeveloped public land within Kakamega Municipality, for a period of ninety (90) days.The County Executive Committee Member for Finance, Planning and ICT has published in the Gazette, Sub-county offices as County Pound Yards for storage of impounded goods and animals.
GARISSA COUNTYThe Governor has re-assigned the members of the Garissa County Executive Committee responsible for the Finance and Economic Planning, Water and Irrigation Services, Lands, Housing, Public Works and Urban Development, Health and Sanitation Services and Education, Labour and ICT matters.
NAKURU COUNTYThe County Assembly shall hold a special sitting on Tuesday, 19th January, 2021 at 9.30 a.m. at the County Assembly Chambers, County Assembly Building in Nakuru to consider the report of nominees for the positions of County Executive Committee Member; Roads, Transport and Public Works, County Executive Committee Member, Public Service Training and Devolution, Chairperson and Member of County Public Service Board.
LAMU COUNTYThe County Assembly shall hold a special sitting on Tuesday, 19th January, 2021 at the Assembly Chamber in Lamu at exactly 10.30 a.m to consider the Committee on Appointment and Committee on Education Reports.
KAJIADO COUNTYThe County Assembly shall hold a special sitting on Tuesday, 19th January, 2021, at 2.30 p.m., for the purpose of consideration of nominees for appointment to the offices of County Chief Officers of the Kajiado County Government.
MURANG’A COUNTYThe County Assembly shall hold special sittings on Tuesday, 19th January, 2021 in the Murang’a County Assembly Chambers, opposite Ihura Stadium, Murang’a, at 12 noon and 2.30 p.m., respectively to:a)       Discuss and approve the Murang’a County Hawkers, Informal and small Traders Fund Regulations, 2021; andb)      Administration of Oath, Hon. Esther Mwihaki Kamau, Member of the County Assembly elect for Gaturi Ward.
BUSIA COUNTYThe County Assembly shall hold two special sittings on Friday, 15th January, 2021 at 9.00 a.m. and at 11.00 a.m. at the County Assembly Buildings for purposes of Tabling the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Governor’s memorandum on the Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2020 and Debating of the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Governor’s Memorandum on the Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2020 respectively.
NYAMIRA COUNTYThe County Assembly shall hold a special sitting on Monday, 18th January, 2021 at 3.30 p.m to table and give a notice of motion on the Report of the Appointments Committee on the Nominee to the position of Deputy Governor of the County Government of Nyamira.
BOMET COUNTYThe County Executive Committee Member, Lands, Housing and Urban Development has appointed members of the Bomet County Physical and Land Use Planning Liaison Committee, for a period of three (3) years.
