NAIROBI 

The Governor of Nairobi City County has appointed Declerk Shivanji Kiarie and Mary Wairimu Kimani as members of the Dagoretti South Sub-county Liquor Committee for a three-year term, effective 10 July 2026. The appointments of Ambros Mwelesa and Caroline Njeri to the Committee have been revoked.  

NANDI 

The Governor of Nandi County has appointed members of the Nandi County Facilities Improvement Fund Board under section 13 of the Nandi County Facilities Improvement Fund Act, 2022. The appointments include a chairperson, representatives from the county health and finance departments, and ex-officio members responsible for overseeing the Fund.

MERU 

The Governor of Meru County has appointed Stephen Nturibi Etirikia as the County Executive Committee Member for Legal Affairs, Public Service Management and Administration, pursuant to section 35 of the County Governments Act, effective 10 June 2026. 

KISII 

The Governor of Kisii County has appointed Arch. Peter Asati Moturi as the Non-Executive Chairperson, and Teresa Bosibori Nyaberi, Peter Oyaro, and Pamela Kwamboka as members of the Kisii County Rural and Urban Affordable Housing Committee for a three-year term, effective from the date of gazettement, pursuant to section 34(2) of the Affordable Housing Act, 2024. 

NAROK 

The Governor of Narok County has appointed John Sayiaton Kitita as Chairperson and Jane Sila Sankok, Kimiti Ruth Lanoi, Emily Chepkemoi Tudongo, Kutinkala Meingati Wilson, and Daniel Kiprono Keter as members of the Narok County Public Service Board for a six-year term, effective 8 July 2026, following approval by the Narok County Assembly. 

TURKANA 

The Governor of Turkana County has appointed Priscilla Ewoi Ateyo as a member of the Lodwar Municipality Board, pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya and the Urban Areas and Cities Act, following approval by the Turkana County Assembly. 

MURANG’A 

The County Executive Committee Member for Health Services has appointed members to the Murang’a County Hospitals Boards for a three-year term, with effect from the date of the notice, in accordance with the Constitution, the County Governments Act and the Murang’a County Health Services Management Act, 2022. 

The National Land Commission has issued a notice of intention to compulsorily acquire land for the dualling of the Nyali Bridge to Kilifi A7 road section, including updates through deletions, corrigenda and addenda, and has invited affected persons to inspect the plans. 

THE LAND ACT (Cap. 280) INQUIRY INTO PROPOSED COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF LAND DUALLING OF NYALI BRIDGE-MTWAPA-KWA KADZENGO-KILIFI (A7) ROAD SECTION 

The National Land Commission has scheduled inquiry hearings for persons with interests in land to be compulsorily acquired for the dualling of the Nyali Bridge to Kilifi A7 road section, with sessions to be held in Maweni, Shanzu and Mtwapa on specified dates to address compensation and related issues. 

KITUI

It notes significant progress during the review period while emphasizing the need for continued improvement and collaboration across the County Government. 

KISUMU 

The notice announces the gazettement of new public health facilities and the harmonization of names of existing facilities in Kisumu County to align with approved regulatory registrations, licensing records, Social Health Authority records, and other official government health information systems.

The notice renews the appointments of members to the Kisumu County Referral Hospital, Lumumba Hospital, and Rabuor Sub-County Hospital Management Boards for a further three-year term, effective 15th May, 2026.
