Allow Me to Testify on What Happened – Ndiang’ui to Court
Blogger Ndiang’ui Kinyagia, who had disappeared under unclear circumstances only to resurface accompanied by his lawyers, has requested that the High Court permit him to testify about the circumstances of his disappearance, signalling a major development in his case. Speaking before Justice Chacha Mwita on Thursday, while accompanied by his mother, Ndiang’ui expressed his willingness to clarify the events related to the matter. His request follows the withdrawal of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), which had been representing him, after filing a notice to cease acting as his legal counsel, thus leaving him unrepresented. He has also sought a postponement of the proceedings to allow time to review court documents.
