Motion

• Hon. Amos Kimunya moves a procedural motion on the Exemption of Business from the provisions of the standing order 40 (3). In view of the short period remaining before the commencement of the Sine Die recess, this House orders that business sponsored  by the majority or minority party, or a committee shall be accorded priority during morning sittings of Wednesday, 25th May and Wednesday, 8th June, 2022.
• Hon. Richard Tongi moves a motion on the appointment of nominees to the position of ambassadors, high commissioners, and permanent representatives.
• Approved motion for Implementation Status of the Reports on a Petition on Irregular Renewal of Leases of Land by Del Monte Kenya Limited and Eviction of Workers from their Land In Roysambu by KDF.

Communication from the Chair 

• Speaker Muturi stated that the term of the 12th Parliament ends on Monday, August 8, 2022, pursuant to Article 102 of the Constitution. Therefore,  all committee chairpersons have been accorded an opportunity to table their respective exit reports during the sitting of the House of Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, and Thursday 9 June, 2022.
