The Agriculture and Food Authority has issued notice of proposed licence grants under Section 20(6), (7) and (8) of the Crops Act, 2013. Objections must be submitted in writing to the Coffee Board of Kenya within 14 days of the notice, stating the objector’s contact details and reasons. Licences will be issued to applicants who meet the requirements of the Crops Act, the Crops (Coffee) (General) Regulations, 2019 and other applicable laws.

The Agriculture and Food Authority has proposed granting macadamia nut manufacturing licences to Imnal Limited, located on Ruiru–Githunguri Road, Kiambu County, and Fair Nuts Limited, located at MNV Building, Thika, Kiambu County. The Insolvency Act – City Taps Kenya Limited (In Liquidation): Meeting of Company and Creditors

Obonyo, has extended the liquidation period of Hunters Profile Sacco Society Limited by a further period of up to three months, following the liquidator’s inability to complete the process within the initial six-month period. Davis Muriithi Kathurima, Principal Co-operative Officer, has been reappointed as liquidator for the extended period, under the order dated 30 September 2026.
Changes to Senator Andrew Okiya Omtatah Okoiti’s Presidential Exploratory Committee
Senator Andrew Okiya Omtatah Okoiti has appointed David John Bwakali as Chairperson and Dr. Dancan Otieno Onyango as Deputy Chairperson of his Presidential Exploratory Committee, effective immediately. The Committee’s tenure has been extended to November 2026 and it will be dissolved once Omtatah formally announces his presidential candidacy or declares that he will not run. The appointments of Mary Kathomi Ringu as Chairperson and Charles ole Kabaiku as Deputy Chairperson/Diaspora Coordinator, made under Gazette Notice No. 15372 of 2024, have been revoked. The notice is dated 28 September 2026.
