1. Could the Cabinet Secretary provide details on the status of all blue economy programmes undertaken by the National Government in Kisumu County since 2022, and indicate timelines for completion of all pending projects?  
2. What is the current infrastructural condition and operational status of landing sites, cold-chain facilities and other key blue infrastructure in Kisumu County? 
3. What impact have the blue economy interventions implemented by the National Government had on the income levels and livelihoods of the fishing community in the county since 2022?  
4. What measures has the Ministry put in place to ensure that funds set aside for blue economy interventions in Kisumu County are fully utilised and translate to tangible economic benefits for the local communities? 

The Senator for Makueni County (Sen. Daniel Maanzo, EBS, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Labour and Social Protection: 

1. Could the Cabinet Secretary confirm whether Mr. Sammy Kyengo, who was found dead at the Talanta Stadium construction site in Nairobi City County, was formally registered as a worker under the contractor, and whether his terms of employment complied with existing labour laws? 
2. Could the Cabinet Secretary provide information on whether any complaints or reports had been made regarding delayed or unpaid wages for workers at the Talanta Stadium project, and how such complaints are addressed by the Ministry? 
3. What measures is the Ministry implementing to ensure that all contractors and sub-contractors involved in major Government projects adhere to occupational health and safety standards to protect workers from avoidable risks? 
4. Could the Cabinet Secretary outline the mechanisms available to provide compensation or other forms of support to the family of the deceased worker and any other persons in similar cases?
