The Basic Education Act (Cap. 211)

Senior School Fees Structure

The Cabinet Secretary for Education has issued a standard fees structure for all public senior schools under both the Competency-Based Education and the 8-4-4 systems, with effect from 5th January 2026. Schools are required to distribute fees across the three school terms at a ratio of 50:30:20 and are prohibited from charging tuition or additional levies beyond the prescribed structure.

The National Land Commission has reserved L.R. No. 33287 in Taita Taveta County (0.1324 ha) to Kenya Power and Lighting Company Limited for industrial use, subject to environmental, development, and constitutional requirements.

The Registrar of Companies gives notice that certain companies will be struck off the Register in three months unless cause is shown to prevent it.

 

The Political Parties Act (Cap. 7D) – Change of Party Constitutions

Usawa Kwa Wote Party (USAWA) and The Service Party (TSP) intend to amend their constitutions; written submissions may be made to the Registrar of Political Parties within seven days.
