The County Assembly Service Board of Turkana has appointed John Ekonit Ekunoit Komol as the Acting Clerk of the County Assembly, with effect from 8th January 2026. 

Notice is given that the preparation of the following Part Development Plans for lands within Nanyuki Municipality, Laikipia County, was completed on 19th December 2025: 

• R54/2025/04: Regularization of Proposed Extension to Plot No. Nanyuki Municipality Block 10/321, 322 and 381 

• R54/2025/05: Regularization of Plots No. A, B, D, C, E, F and G, Nanyuki Municipality 

• R54/2025/06: Regularization of Proposed Extension to Plot No. Nanyuki Municipality Block 6/110 

Copies of the plans have been deposited for free public inspection at the office of the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Infrastructure, Land and Physical Planning, Housing, Energy and Urban Development, and the County Physical Planning office in Nanyuki, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on official working days. 

Any interested person or organization may submit written representations or objections within 60 days from the date of publication to the CECM at the Laikipia County offices in Nanyuki. 

The County Government of Nandi has established The Nandi County Investment and Development Promotion Corporation Limited (Company No. PVT-7815R9KZ) as a county corporation under the Nandi County Investment and Development Promotion Act, 2024. The corporation is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and will perform the functions set out in the Act. 

The Governor of Nandi County has appointed members to the Nandi County Environment Committee for a three-year term, starting from the date of the notice. The committee includes representatives from county departments, national agencies, civil society, and the private sector. It will coordinate environmental management, advise the county government, and ensure compliance with national environmental laws. 

The County Executive Committee Member for Health Services has gazetted the upgrading of Ngakaa Dispensary to Ngakaa Health Centre to improve delivery of health services in Makueni County. 

Rating  

The County Government of Migori proposes to adopt unimproved site value rating and/or annual rental value rating for Awendo Municipality urban areas, in line with Section 10 of the National Rating Act. The proposed areas include Awendo Town, Sony Sugar Company complex, Rapogi Market, Kokuro Market, and Mariwa Market. 

Time of Valuation  

The County Government of Migori has adopted December 2024 as the “Time of Valuation” for preparing the draft valuation roll for Awendo Municipality urban areas. This adoption follows approval by the Migori County Executive Committee on 11th July 2024.

Her appointment, originally made in 2025 for a six-year term, was revoked following a resolution by the Narok County Assembly on 23rd January 2026.

The National Land Commission has reserved and vested the land parcel Mandera Municipality Block 9/191, measuring approximately 18.84 hectares in Mandera County, to the Kenya Medical Training College, Mandera. The land is to be used solely for a medical training college and ancillary services, and the management body must comply with specific conditions including development planning, environmental and conservation requirements, and proper land management.
