The Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning has appointed Edward Ouko to be a member of the Anti-Money Laundering Advisory Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from 19th September 2025.

THE PENDING BILLS VERIFICATION COMMITTEE, EXTENSION OF TERM

IT IS notified for the general information of the public that the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury has extended the term of the Pending Bills Verification Committee, with effect from 1st April 2025, up to 31st December 2025.

THE SOCIAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACT (No. 16 of 2023), THE SOCIAL HEALTH INSURANCE REGULATIONS (L.N. No. 49 of 2024), LIST OF HEALTHCARE SERVICES NOT AVAILABLE IN KENYA

The Cabinet Secretary for Health, in consultation with the Social Health Authority and on the recommendation of the Benefits Package and Tariffs Advisory Panel (BPTAP), gives notice to the public of the list of healthcare services not available in Kenya as set out in its Schedule.

THE TEA ACT (Cap. 343), TEA BOARD OF KENYA, APPOINTMENT

The Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development appoints Jackline Cherono, Joseph Karioki Ngige, and William Otemba Oyosi, to be Members of the Tea Board of Kenya, for a period of (3) years, with effect from 19th September, 2025.

THE MINING ACT (Cap. 306), APPLICATION FOR MINING LICENCE

The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs notifies receipt of an application for mining licence from Keda (Kenya) Ceramics Company Limited. The application may be accessed from the Ministry’s portal and opened to the public for comments for forty-two (42) days from the date of this notice. Any objection by any person or Community against the grant of the mining licence may be submitted to the Cabinet Secretary within the stipulated time frame. 

THE MINING ACT (Cap. 306), APPLICATION FOR MINING LICENCE

The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs notifies receipt of an application for mining licence from Speculate Investments Limited. Any objection by any person or Community against the grant of the mining licence may be submitted to the Cabinet Secretary within forty-two (42) days from the date of this notice. 

THE MINING ACT (Cap. 306), APPLICATION FOR MINING LICENCE

The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs notifies receipt of an application for mining licence from Sinohydro Corporation Limited. Any objection by any person or Community against the grant of the mining licence may be submitted to the Cabinet Secretary within forty-two (42) days from the date of this notice.

MONEY REMITTANCE REGULATIONS, 2013, REVOCATION OF MONEY REMITTANCE PROVIDER’S LICENCE

It is notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to Regulation 44 (2) of the Money Remittance Regulations, 2013, the Central Bank of Kenya has revoked the licence of the Money Remittance provider Bonto Kenya Money Transfer Limited, effective on 11th September 2025.

THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT (Cap. 490), APPOINTMENT OF LIQUIDATOR (Extension and Variation Order)

The Commissioner has appointed Charles Muchui Mugwika, Principal Co-operative Officer, was appointed to be liquidator for Abogeta Farmers Co-operative Society (in liquidation) Limited (CS /819), for a period not exceeding six (6) months, and whereas the said Charles Mugwika has not been able to complete the liquidation exercise within the said period. NOW THEREFORE, I extend the period of liquidation for Abogeta Farmers Co-operative Society (in-liquidation) Limited for another period not exceeding six (6) months and appoint Charles Muchui Mugwika to act as liquidator in the matter of the said Cooperative Society.

THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT (Cap. 490), APPOINTMENT OF LIQUIDATOR (Extension and Variation Order)

The Commissioner has appointed Daniel Nguti Kiio, Principal Cooperative Auditor, to be liquidator for Hunters Profile Sacco Society (in liquidation) Limited (CS /12546), for a period not exceeding one (1) year. WHEREAS the said Daniel Nguti Kiio has not been able to complete the liquidation exercise within the said period. NOW THEREFORE, I extend the period of liquidation for Hunters Profile Sacco Society (in liquidation) Limited (CS /12546), for a period not exceeding six (6) months and appoint Davis Murithi Kathurima to act as liquidator in the matter of the said Co-operative Society.

THE INSOLVENCY ACT (Cap. 53),  IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR THE INTENDED LIQUIDATION OF MEDIA EDGE INTERACTIVE LIMITED. 

A petition for the liquidation of Media Edge Interactive Limited (C.86786) was filed by the Official Receiver, who has also been appointed as provisional liquidator, on 16 October 2024 at the High Court of Kenya in Nairobi. The petition will be heard on 17 December 2025 at 9:00 am at Milimani Law Courts. Creditors or contributors may appear in person or through an advocate to support or oppose the liquidation. Copies of the petition are available from the undersigned free of charge to any creditor or contributor.

THE INSOLVENCY ACT, (Cap. 53) , IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR A LIQUIDATION, ORDER, APPOINTMENT OF LIQUIDATOR AND CREDITORS MEETING

Blue Nile (East Africa) Limited was placed under liquidation on 14 March 2025, with the Official Receiver appointed as Liquidator. Creditors’ meeting will be held on 1 October 2025 at 11:00 am at 316 Upper Hill Chambers, Nairobi, and proofs of debt must be filed by 30 September 2025 through the eCitizen portal. No legal action can be taken against the company without the consent of the Liquidator or the Court.

THE INSOLVENCY ACT (Cap. 53) IN THE MATTER OF KAOYENI, LAND PROJECT LIMITED (IN LIQUIDATION) MEMBERS’ VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

Notice is hereby given that Kaoyeni Land Project Limited (In-Liquidation) passed a Special Resolution on 5th September, 2025 to liquidate the company. All creditors of the company are notified to lodge their claims with full particulars that they may have against the company with the undermentioned Liquidator on or before 4th October, 2025 and if so required by the Liquidator shall be required to prove the debt due to them by the company, failure to which the claim shall be excluded from any distribution by the company.
