Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority – Schedule of Tariffs 2023 (Electricity Tariffs, Charges, Prices and Rates)
Pursuant to Clause 1 of Part III of the Schedule of Tariffs, 2023, all electricity prices specified in Part II are subject to a fuel energy cost charge of plus 299 Kenya cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in August 2025.The computation of this charge is based on information used by EPRA to calculate the fuel energy cost adjustment.

Fuel Energy Cost Charge: All electricity prices will attract a fuel energy cost charge of +299 Kenya cents per kWh for all meter readings taken in August 2025.Foreign Exchange Fluctuation Adjustment: All electricity prices will attract a forex fluctuation adjustment of +122.49 cents per kWh for August 2025 meter readings. Exchange losses totalled KSh 1,313,589,254.73 against 1,284,278,448 kWh generated and purchased in July 2025.Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) Levy: All electricity prices will attract a WRMA levy of +1.47 cents per kWh for August 2025 meter readings, based on the approved levy of 5.00 Kenya cents per kWh for energy purchased from hydropower plants with capacity ≥1MW.

Chief Magistrate’s Court, Kitale – Intended Destruction of Court Records
The Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitale intends to apply for permission to destroy certain court records three months after this notice. The records include criminal cases from 2019, civil cases from 2004–2005, and miscellaneous criminal cases from 2016–2019. A full list is available at the court registry. Anyone wishing to claim exhibits must do so within the three-month period; unclaimed exhibits will be destroyed with the records.
