- b) What is the current extent of Prosopis Juliflora spread across the country, and could the Cabinet Secretary identify the most affected areas, particularly in Marsabit County where the species reportedly covers approximately 40% of rangelands?
- c) What short- and long-term interventions has the Ministry developed to contain or eradicate Prosopis Juliflora, including projected timelines, budgetary allocations and multi-agency or county-level plans aimed at restoring affected rangelands, especially in light of its 2022 classification as a national security threat?
