The National Land Commission has scheduled an inquiry on 6th August 2025, at 10:30 am at Upper Hill Chambers, 20th Floor, to hear compensation claims related to the compulsory acquisition of Nairobi/Block 30/19 (0.2779 Ha), owned by Grassy Limited, on behalf of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF). Interested parties must submit written claims, identification documents, land ownership proof, and banking details by the date of the inquiry.

In line with Article 184 of the Constitution, Section 20 of the Urban Areas and Cities Act (2011, amended 2019), and the Sotik Municipality Charter, 2024, the County Government of Bomet has transferred specified functions from various County Departments to the Sotik Municipality. The transfer includes associated resources, staff, budget, and assets, effective as outlined in the accompanying schedule.

Governor Kimani Wamatangi has appointed Itobi Newton Bariu as the County Executive Committee Member for Roads, Transport, Public Works and Utilities in Kiambu County, effective 3rd July 2025.

A special sitting of the Kilifi County Assembly is scheduled for 21st July 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at the County Assembly Chambers, Malindi. The sole business is the election of the Speaker of the County Assembly.
