The Sports Act – Appointments

• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Mark Lomunokol as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Sports Kenya, for three (3) years, effective from the 15th of November 2024.
• Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen has appointed William Odaji, Mohamed Shoaib Vayani, and Richard Kimutai Chemweno, to be members of Sports Kenya Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 15th November, 2024.

The Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre Order, 2011 – Appointment

• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Nuh Nassir Abdi (Dr.) to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Animal Genetic Resources Centre, for three (3) years, with effect from the 15th November 2024. The appointment of Victor Kioko Munyaka is revoked.

The State Corporations Act – Appointments

• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Teobald Mukundi Wambugu as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Tana Water Works Development Agency, effective from the 15th of November 2024 to the 4th of July 2025. The appointment of James Gathaka Wanyaga is revoked.
• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Wenwa Akinyi Oranga (Dr.) to be the Chairperson of the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute for three (3) years, effective 15th November 2024.
• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Evans Odhiambo Kidero (Dr.) to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya National Trading Corporation, for three (3) years, with effect from the 15th November 2024. The appointment of Hussein Tene Debasso is revoked.
• Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning, Hon. John Mbadi, has appointed Michael Rubia, Albert Ojonjo and Lokiru Ali Mohammed, to be members of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 15th November, 2024.
• Cabinet Secretary for Education, Julius Ogamba, has appointed Qamar Mohamed to be a member of the School Equipment Production Unit Board, for three (3) years, effective 15th November 2024.
• Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry, Hon. Salim Mvurya has appointed Mwanajuma Hiribae to be a member of the Numerical Machining Complex Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 15th November, 2024.

The Kenya Agricultural And Livestock Research Act, 2013 – Appointment

• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Thuo Mathenge (Dr.) to be the Chairperson of the Board of Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization, for three (3) years, effective from the 15th November 2024. The appointment of Peter Weru Kinyua is revoked.

The Kerio Valley Development Authority Act – Appointment

• H.E President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Mark Kosgei Chesergon to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kerio Valley Development Authority, for three (3) years, with effect from the 15th November 2024. 

The Hydrologists Act – Appointment 

• H.E. President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Lawrence Thongoro Kuria (Eng.) as the Chairperson of the Hydrologists Registration Board.

The Climate Change Act – Appointment

• H.E. President William Samoei Ruto has appointed Anab Mohamed Gure to be a member of the Nairobi Rivers Commission, effective 15th November 2024, for three (3) years.

• Prime Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi has appointed several persons as members of the Board of Visitors of Kamae Girls Borstal Institution. 

The National Lottery Act, 2023 – Appointment

The National Construction Authority Act, 2011 – Appointment

• Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Alice Wahome has appointed Mercy Okiro as the Chairperson of the National Construction Authority Board, for three (3) years, effective 15th November 2024.

Taskforce To Investigate The Underlying Causes And Impacts Of Accumulation Of Unsold Tea – Appointments

• Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock, Andrew Karanja, has appointed several persons to be part of the task force to investigate the underlying causes and impacts of the accumulation of unsold tea and propose short-, medium and long-term solutions.

• Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock, Andrew Karanja, has declared several crops as scheduled crops. This includes mung bean, cocoyam, cocoa, and jute.

The Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service Act – Appointment

The Anti-Doping (Amendment) Act, 2020  – Appointment
