On the 19th day of September 2024, Okiya Omtata filed a petition against the Attorney General, The National Assembly, The Senate, The Independent Police Oversight Authority, The National Police Service Commission, The Kenya National Human Rights Commission for Human Rights and Douglas Kanja.
